Job Description / Duties & Responsibilities :
 Conducts a site assessment and coordinates w/ the Project Manager/client’s representatives on the required
safety requirements of the project.
 Prepares the Safety and Health Program for the project in accordance with the DOLE/BWC safety rules and
regulation.
 Serves as Secretary to the Safety and Health Committee tasked with the authority to monitor, inspect and
investigate all aspects of the construction project pertaining to health and safety of construction workers;
prepares minutes of the meeting, report status of recommendations made, notifies member of the
committee and submits to the management a committee report on its activities.
 Prepares necessary documents from Safety Department needs for ISO audit.
 Conducts safety orientation regarding the general safety guidelines, including the company policies, safety

 Monitors the effectivity of the implemented safety measures to identify hazardous act and conditions in the
workplace which should be followed up with effective remedial action.
 Conducts a daily toolbox meeting among the workers and their respective supervisors to assess progress of

 Conducts safety and health audit that entails the review of the company’s safety and health programs
through site inspection.
