HAVE YOU EVER

BEEN IN FUENTE

 DE CANTOS?
It is in the South of
        Extremadura
in the province of Badajoz
The emblem of the
     village.
Economy

I ts economy is based fundamentally on the primary sector:
cultures of dryness and up bringing cattle.
Feast
T here are two important festivities in
          F uente de C antos:

T he C hanfaina at the end of A pril
or at at the beginning of M ay.
T he R omería de San I sidro the 15 of
                                   th

                 M ay.
Gastronomy
They are the organic resources of the zone those that use as
raw material for the most genuine plates of the locality and of
the region. The abundance of cereals has developed
traditionally an industry baker and qualit sweet jar. The
pastoral culture has delighted us for centuries with stews as
the small cauldron and the offal stew that the presence of the
most ample cabin of pig and the existence of several
industries chacineras have popularized and extended, up to
beyond our borders. The meats, so, but without they forget
other local variants in the production of the asparagus, the
mushrooms, the stew and the Extremaduran gazpacho,
between other succulencies, are the strong plate.
