The main aim of this project is measuring the different parameters of environment like temperature, light
intensity, humidity and monitoring the operation using controller. Accurate time base for RTC, storage data in
EEPROM, alphanumeric LCD display with keypad for user interface and data downloading software for PC
over USB.

• Interfacing various sensors for weather monitoring through ADC.
• Interfacing RTC through I2C.
• Interfacing Alphanumeric LCD.

Hand Held Spot Billing Machine

Summary :
The Spot Billing Machine (SBM) is a Hand Held Computer, in which the program is stored along with all the
relevant data, for the issue of petrol billing, bus ticketing etc. it gives bills on spot and store the data in its
memory. LPC1343 is the platform used for this, here portable thermal printer, alphanumeric LCD displays, 30
keys 6x5 keypad, RTC and EEPROM are interface with different communication protocols. The stored data is
transfer and new data load to memory from PC by using UART. POS machine is easy to operate and user
friendly to the operator ,this device is high secured with user name and password assigned ,no loss of data, this
device hold the customer data like product ID, name, cost, etc. Performs report analysis on daily, weekly an
monthly basis in precised way.

Display Images And Data On Graphical Lcd using RTC

Summary :
We use graphical lcd in our daily life. This project is used to change display images on time bases. It will done
using Real time clock in lpc1343 and Graphical Liquid crystal display(128*64 dots) which is interface with
lpc1343..If time changes the display on Graphical lcd changes .Time can be set by user with the help of uart.
Based up on the time the displays will be seen in Graphical lcd.

The main intent of this PWM setup in real time application is for controlling the brightness of LED. Pulse
Width Modulation (PWM) is a technique used to generate analog signal for a digital device like microcontroller
unit (MCU) .The brightness of LED can be controlled from embedded side with different duty cycle value and
we can get an analog voltage output from one of the PWM channels.
