FaaST Failover SDwan and wireless presentation 9 2017Tom Benson
Broad Sky Networks description of our auto failover technology to protect wired internet circuits, and, how our wireless internet service complements SDWAN deployments
This presentation covers the challenges with Enterprise WAN, discuss how SD-WAN promise to address the problem and lastly Nuage Network SD-WAN solution, Virtualized Network Services (VNS)..
Deploying new WAN services can take a long time and require a significant up-front capital investment. The software-defined nature of SD-WAN enables service agility, rapid rollout, and instant-on WAN that the Service Provider can immediately benefit from. This accelerates the time to market and time to revenue.
The enterprise WAN is adapting to address the pervasive availability of broadband Internet, the shift of applications to the cloud and the increasing demands for real-time, online and critical applications in the branch office.
At the same time enterprises have made significant investments in their existing WAN architecture infrastructure network equipment and WAN services. Many enterprises are evaluating an SD-WAN solution as a way to address the changing enterprise landscape without decommissioning their existing WAN any time soon.
This webinar guides you through various flexible architectures and transition steps for SD-WAN that target maximum return while minimizing disruption and risk. Examples of how a cloud-delivered SD-WAN enables flexible transition and deployment in both hybrid and Internet only branches will be shared.

6WINDGate™ - Enabling Cloud RAN Virtualization6WIND
Traditional mobile networks are based on stand-alone Base Transceiver Stations covering a radio area. BTS overlap to provide a wide coverage to mobile users and are connected to the mobile core network through a backhaul network. Cloud Radio Access Network is a new architecture for mobile access networks that rely on simple radio front-ends connected to a pool of remote network resources. By leveraging cloud infrastructures, CAPEX and OPEX is lowered substantially.

Abitcool - A vast array of small-scale service providers with gigabit access, by Tony Hain. A presentation given at APNIC 38 during the APOPS 3 session.
In his 2016 ACE SCHOOL & RUS SYMPOSIUM talk, Bill Nelson explained how NFV is particularly beneficial for those delivering broadband to rural areas. He showed how much rural communication service providers can achieve with the ability to quickly automate system management and move a network environment with a few keystrokes. And he revealed how providers can win new business by partnering with larger competitors or competing with them on price.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.
Gopinath Rebala
Gopinath Rebala is the CTO of OpsMx, where he has overall responsibility for the machine learning and data processing architectures for Secure Software Delivery. Gopi also has a strong connection with our customers, leading design and architecture for strategic implementations. Gopi is a frequent speaker and well-known leader in continuous delivery and integrating security into software delivery.
