1. PROPERTIES:
1. Name property: The Name property identifies a form or control. After the
property is set, note the changes to the Properties window and Project
window.
2. 2. Caption property:
It determines what is displayed in the form’s title bar. click in the
field next to Caption (this field displays Form1). Delete the existing value
using the Backspace key or Delete key and enter the new value.
Hit the Enter key (Return key). Note: As you enter a new value for
the Caption property the form’s title bar changes in response to what you are
typing.
3. 3. Resizing the form:
Click and drag one of the form’s enabled sizing handles .
4. 4. Background color:
The Back Color property specifies a form or control’s background
color.

5. 5. Font property:
It value causes an ellipsis button to appear . When this button is
pressed, the Font window is opened.
The font name (MS Sans Serif, Serif, etc.), font style (Regular,
Bold, etc.) and font size (8, 10, etc.) can be selected.
6. 6.Control Box or Combo Box:
The Combo Box control is used to display more than one item in a
drop-down list.
It is a combination of List box and Text box in which the user can
input only one item.
7. 7. Min, Max Buttons:
In Windows, almost all open windows have three buttons on
the menu bar; located at the top of the screen. The far left button is
the minimize button, depicted by a minus sign.
The middle button is the restore/maximize button.
