The Mural Project was the first
street art show at a major New York City
music festival.
The open-air gallery exhibition took place at
the fourth annual Governors Ball Music Festival
on Randall’s Island and featured artwork from
local NYC street artists. After the three day
event, the custom installations were
transported to Brooklyn’s Succulent Studios
for the press party and month-long
gallery exposition.

BUDGET: $250,000
HIGHLIGHTS: Commissioned 34 street artists including
Icy & Sot, Fumero, Robots Will Kill, Rubin 415, CAM,
Chris Stain, Juan Carlos Pinto
All production completed on-site and each of the
50 custom art installations were positioned all
throughout the festival grounds
Partnered with Cre8tive Youth*nk Youth Arts Organization
to collaborate with NYC art apprentices
Hosted gallery event for our artists with reconstructed
installations at Succulent Studios featuring live musical
performance from MIA drummer Kiran Gandhi

Thirty years ago TED started as an
international gathering for innovators and
leaders in the fields of Technology,
Entertainment and Design. TEDx was
created in 2009 to empower independent
organizers who want to create a
TED event in their own community.
I launched Brooklyn’s inaugural TED Talks
in 2010 with TEDxBrooklyn to create a
nexus for New Yorkers who believe in the
power of “ideas worth spreading.”
The day-long conference has brought
together regional luminaries to celebrate
their ideas and inspire the world.
