Put together and managed an aggregated (“pooled-up”) book in Yandex (YNDX) IPO for HNWI and smaller funds
Was directly involved in Special Situations in VSMPO-AVISMA (VSMO), Alrosa (ALRS), RosTelekom (RTKM)
and RAO Far East (VRAO/VRAOP).
Put together a comprehensive client base for IPO/SPOs in Russian equities and their secondary flow, consisting of
bulge-bracket GEM funds (hedge and long-only), smaller funds with AUM between 50-500 mm USD, family
offices, HNWI, and, on the domestic side, corporate treasuries, non-state pension funds and sector specialists.
Built up a derivative trading operation with an extensive range of offered products. Focused on 1.5 Tiers (stocks
trading between 1-5 mm USD daily) and less liquid names.

model to go from No. 12 EM broker for Russian equities in 2006 to Nos 3-4 in 2008
