those devices to understand what people are
doing in the real world.”

21. some tips for your healthcare apps
fonts: no decorative, but common an easy to read (patterns), aligned left
to right (where you have much content), large.
content: just the necessary words - adapted to the caregivers’ language,
very structured and easy to scan.
22. colors: visible colors, both for reading and for the elements.
flow: simple flow, logic flow and, the most important, accordingly to
their needs.
elements: easy to access (e.g., if you have an alarm button, to have just a
step to access it), not having redundant elements on the page (e.g.,
unnecessary lines, decorations etc.), common icons.

24. – Don Norman, Director of The Design Lab at University of California
“It’s not enough that we build products that
function, that are understandable and usable,
we also need to build products that bring joy
and excitement, pleasure and fun, and yes,
beauty to people’s lives.”
