WorkLife RS and The MAT80 Psychometric Assessment Tool
E-Metrixx, developers of the MAT80 Psychometric Assessment Tool, was
approached by a leading Careers Consultancy to help with reengineering its
processes when providing on-boarding to its clients.
Previously this had been done through interviews with the client organisation
(to understand the culture) and telephone interviews with potential
candidates. Once a pool of potential new recruits had been selected this
was passed to the client along with the relevant CVs.
By re working this process using the MAT80, WorkLife RS was embedded in the
client’s on-boarding process as an integral part of the outsourced HR
function.
Using objective data available through the MAT80 platform, WorkLife was able
to assess, select and develop the relevant skills required by the client. Gaps
within the client organisation were identified through data analysis from the
MAT80 by assessing the existing team and potential recruits. WorkLife manage
career transitions for senior professionals and executives internationally.

The MAT80 makes predicting future business success a simple task for recruiters,
HR Directors and business owners. Designed by Professor Irwing of Alliance
Manchester Business School and editor of the Wiley’s Handbook on
Psychometrics 2018, powerful psychometrics is available to all organisations.
With each item being developed, tested and validated over the last 9 years,
the MAT80allows recruiters to identifying future ‘High Earners’ with extremely
high confidence. Candidates are assessed through a 20 minute personality
questionnaire, a 20 minute business numeracy section and a 20 minute
business communication essay.

All candidates receive a 25 page development report to assist with their on-
going Learning and Development plan while businesses gain real insight into
their employees/candidates to ensure on-boarding is as streamlined as
possible.
