C. Western Europe, Australia, Canada, Russia, and the United States are high-income countries based on their GDP per capita in 2020 measured in U.S. dollars adjusted for cost of living differences. Asian countries like China, Mongolia, and Thailand as well as most countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America are not considered high-income based on the same metric.
