A small company used Agile methodology to recruit and onboard 21 new employees in only 8 weeks to work on a large, multi-million dollar project with a tight deadline. They broke the process into epics and assigned teams to recruit employees, prepare facilities and equipment, and create and administer training programs. While most goals were achieved on time, IT infrastructure issues caused delays getting new employees set up due to increased network traffic. Lessons learned included planning for IT resource needs earlier.
