of management experience
in the mortgage, finance and
appraisal industries. His
primary roles as CEO of
United States Appraisals are
leading the valuation management team
with a focus on diversifying the client
portfolio, providing operational direction
and inspiring a culture of excellence.
Under Aaron’s guidance, the company
has experienced customer satisfaction and
retention rates that are unparalleled in
the industry.
Prior to co-founding United States
Appraisals, Aaron held various leadership
positions including District Finance
Manager for Enterprise Leasing, Internet
Banking Team Lead for First Tennessee
Bank and Regional Mortgage Banking
Manager for Capital One Financial.
Aaron earned his Bachelor of Science
from Graceland University.
Chris has more than 21 years
of experience in all aspects
of finance and accounting as
well as extensive knowledge
of software management
and reporting. As CFO, Chris
oversees all facets of the company’s finances
including financial reporting, forecasting,
auditing, compliance, payroll and billing.
Chris is also instrumental in Appraisal
Management Licensing at the state level.
Before joining the team, Chris led financial
operations for a variety of companies
including those in the pharmaceutical,
institutional investing, telecommunications,
software development, government and
the housing market industries. He received
a Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Administration for Accounting as well as a
Master in Business Administration with an
emphasis in Finance and Management, both
from Rockhurst University.

25. Sam has an extensive
customer service background
and leads United States
Appraisals’ client relations
team. In this capacity, Sam
serves as the senior point of
contact for clients, manages the company’s
vendors, oversees the appraiser panel and
trains staff to provide the industry’s best
customer service. Prior to joining the team,
Sam was a National Sales Coordinator for
Sprint Telecommunications. He earned his
Bachelor’s degree from The University
of Kansas.
Richard Garrie has more
than 20 years of residential
valuation experience. His
primary role at United States
Appraisals is leading the
Quality Assurance team – he
assists appraisers with completing complex
assignments, supervises the internal review
staff, works with clients and appraisers to
meditate appraisal disputes and provides
internal training and guidance on compli-
ance. Richard also works with Washington,
D.C. law firms Ballard Spahr, LLP and Patton
Boggs, LLP to stay up-to-date on all new and
emerging regulatory appraisal guidelines.
Before joining our team, Richard spent eight
years as a branch manager with Forsythe
Appraisals, LLC where he launched the
company’s first Florida branch in
Orlando, and developed and implemented
the policies and procedures to successfully
launch branches in Tampa and Las Vegas. He
also served as a staff appraiser in the Cass
County MO Assessor’s Office and briefly ran
his own appraisal company. Richard is FHA
certified and was the first appraiser in the
country certified in the Collateral Valuation
Report. Prior to entering the appraisal
industry, Richard spent four years in the
United States Air Force.

James oversees current
technology and creates
relevant policy. James aligns
technology-related decisions with United
States Appraisals goals, along with
managing research and development.
Wardell leads the on-boarding
process of newly-added
appraisers and manages
appraisers currently on our
panel. His daily functions
include initiating and continuing ongoing
communications with appraisers, reviewing
appraisers’ background and work and
managing the completed report upload
process.
As Client Relations Manag-
er, Jamer works closely with
clients to understand their
needs and find the quickest,
most favorable outcome.
His duties include providing
clients with regular updates on orders,
liaising with appraisers to determine project
statuses and addressing challenges of
complex assignments. Jamer attended the

Brett has over 15 years of

ing operations. Brett brings
a wealth of experience in

Brett’s knowledge and expertise allows him

Prior to joining our team, Brett was
responsible for the establishment and daily
operations of a regional sales and client
center where he oversaw employee recruit-

expense control, and administration. As his
career advanced, he moved into a national
sales executive role where he excelled in
identifying top-tier decision-makers,
establishing and nurturing business
relationships, and closing contracts. Brett
