Elizabeth responds to Jennifer's request for clarification on some questions about the HKCTU proposal. Elizabeth says she would prefer to answer the questions the next day when she returns to the office so she can check figures against other reports and ask colleagues. She apologizes and hopes Jennifer does not mind waiting until tomorrow for the answers.

Hi Jennifer,
Thanks. But I would rather answer your questions tomorrow when I get back to the office
where I can compare figures with other reports and ask questions from my colleagues.
I am sorry and I hope it is still OK with you.
best,
Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks for answering the questions. I have attached the budget again
for your review. There are several questions in the margin.
Thanks!
Jennifer

1. Objective 1: -6 -8 at each small group meetings with workers at ISS
and
Links; - 20 to attend the activists training.

training to recruitment members.

Democracy and advocacy to ban the Functional Constituencies will be very
crucial in view of the recent political development in HK after the
passage
of the government reform proposal. In terms of community issues, the
transport subsidies will continue to be a focus. To add, there will be
advocacy for facilitities and services for elderlies and youths and
disable
persons in the communities.

Yes, in New Territories West and New Territories East. The latter has
been
targetted by the CTU to develop community-based network similar to what
has
been initiated in New Territories West.

much)
will be decided on in about 2 months time. CTU and FADWU are still
pushing
for an amendment to the Bill so that migrant domestic workers will be
included. A meeting was held on June 20 to finalize the amendment.
