The Disability Rights Section of the Civil Rights Division of the Deparlment of Justice
(the Department) has received your correspondence regarding the Americans with Disabilities
Act of 1990 (ADA), Your letter proposes several changes to the regulations implementing the
ADA. We appreciate your interest in writing to us to express your views about the effectiveness
of our regulations. We will keep your comments and proposed regulatory changes under
