Vinnie Vrotny gave an orientation about upper school technology at North Shore Country Day School. He outlined that computers would be available for check out in study halls and classrooms. Four printers were accessible in various locations around campus with more to be added. The guest wireless network was being replaced by a single student network requiring usernames and passwords. Vinnie also discussed the school's technology acceptable use policy, prohibiting wasting bandwidth, sharing passwords, breaking laws, and disrespecting others. His goals for students were to learn how to filter information, build personal learning networks, communicate ideas using different tools, and make a positive impact.
