Lincoln Park is a neighborhood in Chicago located near Lake Michigan. It was originally a cemetery but was later converted into a park named after Abraham Lincoln. The Lincoln Park Zoo started in 1868 with a donation of mute swans. Today, Lincoln Park has a population of around 66,000 people who are mostly white. Notable locations include DePaul University, Oz Park featured in The Wizard of Oz, and sites related to gangster John Dillinger.
