This physical growth unit plan aims to teach second grade students about different types of growth over five days using hands-on activities, visual aids, stories and discussion. The plan will teach about growth from fetus to adult. It will analyze the class of 20 students, which consists of 12 girls, 8 boys from low-income families, with some Hispanic and ADD students. A variety of technologies will support the learning, including videos, posters, webquests and social media.

2. ANALYZE LEARNER
• I will be teaching a Second Grade classroom with twenty students. Twelve
of those students will be girls and eight will be boys. They will be from low
income families, three students are Hispanic, and two students have mild
ADD.

3. MAIN OBJECTIVE
• My students will be able to differentiate and describe the different types of
growth by hands on activities, visual aids, maps, reading stories, and class
discussion within five days with 95% accuracy.
