This document provides the objectives, schedule, assessments, and teaching tools for a 7-day 11th grade US History unit on the Cold War. The unit objectives examine events like the Marshall Plan, Truman Doctrine, McCarthyism, Korean War, and Cuban Missile Crisis. Students will analyze primary documents, participate in debates, and take a test to assess their understanding of how these events impacted the political, social, and cultural landscape of the US and abroad during the Cold War era.
