Carl died from stage 3 lymphoma at a young age. As he had a family history of lymphoma and ate poorly, he was at higher risk. By the time Carl saw a doctor about his constant fatigue, fever, and tiredness, his lymphoma was already at stage 3. If Carl had been more aware of his cancer risk factors like his diet and family history, he may have found treatment sooner and potentially lived to see his children grow up and pursue his other goals. Being aware of cancer risk factors is important for prevention.

3. He had been feeling really tired and fatigued. He constantly had a fever and couldn’t figure out why. By the time he finally went into the Doctor to get it checked out he was had stage 3 lymphoma.

4. If Carl had been more aware of the foods her put into his body or been more conscious of his family history with cancer. He could have found treatment sooner.

5. Carl might be here to watch his children grow up or finish his degree or travel the world. Carl could have made difference.
