my hotel was GANDÍA PALACE.
The sea was cold.
-I saw my cousins in Puertollano.
-The holiday time passed very fast.

7. My last summer
My last summer, I was in London, Sabinillas and
Matalascañas.
First I went to Matalascañas then to Sabinillas and
finally to London.
In London I visited BigBen, Harrods, Hamleys… In
Hamleys I saw the queen of England

8. In Matalascañas I stayed for four days. I liked
playing Ping-Pong in the hotel. I met a friend, he
lived in Salamanca.
In Sabinillas there is a camp. I went with my
brother. In the camp, I stayed for ten days.

9. Hello, I am Andrea. I am eleven years old.
I am going to talk about my last summer.
Last summer I went to a camp for 10 days. I
went with two of my friends: Elena and
Arturo. There, I made friends, for example
María. Every night we did different
activities. All the nights Arturo, María, Elena
and me were together. The activity that I
most liked was when we decided what we
could do. We went canoeing, driving cars and
jumping. I didn’t like the food because it was

10. very bad. I only liked breakfast.
After the camp, I went to my village,
Malagón. My cousins from San Sebastián
came to my village too. They stayed there
for four days. In that time we went to the
cinema, to the swimming pool and to the
aquatic park. When they left I was sad.

11. I spent the rest of the summer in my uncle’s
house. I went to art lessons some days. All
the afternoons I swam in the pool. At night I
watched a film with my family.

12. In conclusion, I loved last summer but I
would like spending more time with my
cousins next summer.

17. MY LAST SUMMER

• In my last summer, I went with
my parents, my brother, my
grandfather and my grandmother,
my uncle Javier, my aunt Patricia
and my cousins Javier y Patricia
to Huelva.
• We stayed in Isla Cristina, in a
chalet. We arrived on Monday.
That day, we were very tired but
we left our bags and went to the
beach.
• Every afternoon, We did
sightseeing, we visited a lot of
monuments such us the
Monastery of Ravida.
• In this monument, we saw the
Colon’s ships.

this city, we saw the birthplace of
Juan Ramón Jiménez.
• Other day, we visited Portugal, the
Tavira island, in this place we ate cod
and my parents drank Portuguese

this small village had white houses
with a lot of flowers and in front of
them they put the nets.
