Kyla Graves spent a fun-filled week in Tennessee with her grandparents and cousins over the summer. Some of the highlights included going to church with her grandma, seeing The Sound of Music movie, shopping at the mall, enjoying rides at Dollyworld like the Mystery Mine, and having family dinners. Throughout the week she met other family members like her baby cousin Olivia, played with toys, went on more outings, and received gifts before sadly having to say goodbye at the end of the fun-filled week she would never forget.

Hour 3
Do you have a memory that will stay with you forever? I do. This summer, I went to
Tennessee for a whole week and had tons of fun. One Saturday in the summer, my mom drove
me halfway to Tennessee where we met my grandparents. My grandparents took me back to their
house. I stayed for a whole week and had a bunch of friends.
When I got to Tennessee, we went straight to my grandparent’s house to drop off my
stuff. We went ot bed after that. The next day, I had to get up early to go to their church. I didn’t
know anyone there so I went to my grandma’s class with eight year olds. After that, we went to
Starbucks and I got a raspberry mocha frappuciono. When we got back to the house, my cousins,
Gavin, Kaylee, Camden, and Kaegan came over. My grandma took Kaylee and I to see The
Sound of Music. After that, we went to the store and got a bunch of candy. Then, we went to
Bible study.
My second day, I got to meet my cousin Olivia who is now 1. She was very cute. I went
to my Cousins house after I met Olivia. The Third day we had a kid’s day. We all went to my
Grandparents house where we played with the Play Mobil. We had a really fun time. The fourth
day, we went shopping at the mall with Gavin and Kaylee. We all got something and we had a
great time.
The fifth day, my uncle Jeremy took Kaylee, Gavin, and I to DollyWorld. It was so much
fun there! I went on the Mystery Mine which was the best ride ever. There was also a water ride
where you got to spray everyone with water. Right after we got back from there we had to go
straight to Bible Study in our soaking wet clothes!
The sixth day, we had another kid’s day and after that we had the whole family go out for
dinner. The dinner was really good. I had pizza. That night, I had to say goodbye to everyone.

After that, we went to my great granddaddy’s house and he gave me a whole box of cookies! The
seventh day, my grandparents drove me back to Kentucky where we met my mom and my other
grandma. My granddaddy had given me one of his Play Mobil houses. We all had skyline chili,
and then I had to say goodbye.
I had a really fun time in Tennessee and that is one thing I’ll never forget because it was
so fun.
