Project, Famous Cities. My city is Río de Janeiro,
known as ``Río´´. It is in the southeast of Brazil. I
like the flag and I like the carnivals because they
are very funny, wonderful and spectacular. Río
de Janeiro is a new city, it was the capital city of
Brazil in 1822, it is the second most populated
city in Brazil and it is a very lively city. The
population in Río de Janeiro is 6.320.446
people. The main language in Río is Portuguese.
Popular places to visit in Río are the Tijuca
national park, the Christ the Redeemer that is
one of the seven wonders of the modern world,
