your rights? Did you know tha
children and teens have special
rights that protect them? Did
you know that these rights apply
to every single child and every
single teen in every single
country in the world?
TEENAGE RIGHTS:
• To have a loving home
and family.
• To have a nationality.
• To rest, play and have
fun.
• To have freedom of
speech.
• To have an education.
• To speak a language and
folow the custom of
their parents.
• To receive health care.
• To be treated with
respect.
What is UNICEF?
It’s the United Nations
Children’s Fund. It was
created in 1946 and it’s
an international
organization that works to
protect children and their
rights. It works in over
160 countries around the
world.
