- . Content: Fritz the Cat is a bleak socio political satire piece on the struggle of the American class system in the 1960s. It presents America as a pack of delusional hypocrites, leaving the viewer disillusioned with the ideals we thought to be righteous Form: Ralph Bakshi presents the revolutionary era that was the 1960s through our protagonist by emphasizing on its hypocrisy and irony. He also ironically portrays this bleak social climate through colorful and vivid cartoons that mimic the pop art revolution of Andy Warhol.

- The Beatles had a lot of music that showed the flip side of the counterculture movement of the 1960’s. John Lennon always had an understanding of the hypocrisy in the media, and used his music to represent his feelings towards it. In perhaps their most infamous song, revolution 9, John Lennon uses random ambient noises and chaotic sounds in order to show the true nature of revolution. It is not some grand thing that leads to peace and love, it is in fact the opposite.
