The spirit of rest, wisdom, understanding, counsel, strength, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord. These are the seven spirits of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is made up of the seven spirits of God, which is how He has the Holy Spirit. This is how He became God.

The Most Misunderstood Verse in the Bible -- Luke 6.37 (37-42)New City Church
The measure we use to judge others is the measure by which we will be judged. So will we be judgmental, condemning, unforgiving, and stingy, or will we be magnanimous with others, like the Lord Jesus Christ is?
The message was given on Sept 29, 2013 at New City Church in Calgary by Pastor John Ferguson. For more info, go to www.NewCityChurch.ca.
You have to believe. We are capable of believing because everybody believes in something. You either believe you are pretty, your forehead is big, you believe your tall, you believe many things about you. When you believe your real height, then you can stop acting like your tall. Because you are functioning in the wrong height, it brought the wrong things to you. You were handling stuff bigger than you.
When you get the Holy Spirit for real, He makes you thirsty for more. When you can really see, you want more righteousness, you want more. When you get the Holy Spirit you see the spiritual side of everything...the trees talking, the grass talking. Why. Because you can now see.
The speed your prayers are answer is in direct proportion to your faith. Whatever you want, your faith has to be there so when it shows up all it did was catch up to your faith.

“The reason we need to recognize the demonic realm (demon) by name is because we need to preserve our own spiritual health. This is because we are under constant spiritual warfare. The same amount of time we spend in the natural realm "grooming", God wants us to spend the same amount of time getting ready in the spirit.”
“If I’m a pig myself why would He give me a pearl when He said don’t cast your pearls unto swine. If I’m wallowing in my own slop, if I’m a pig how can I handle a pearl?
The problem is some of you don’t even want to believe that you’re a pig.”
How to have an invulnerable will and not to be broken is something that each one of us has control over. You decide whether or not you can be defeated and how far you are willing to go. And all of it comes down to one simple thing in your mind which is: truly believing in what you are fighting for.

“We cannot reach the perfection of Christ until the sheep can expose themselves to each one of the five fold. You can’t be perfected by yourself. Perfection is not reached alone, you get into trouble by yourself.”
“Everything is backed by a spirit. Everything is speaking the food you eat is a spirit, what you wear is a spirit). The food you eat, how you dress, all of it is a spirit.”
“Satan wants you to pretend like you’re saved so when true salvation shows up you won’t recognize it. He doesn't want you to know that even though you’re not saved, you’re on a journey to salvation. He wants you to get off the journey. He cares less about the salvation. You can church so much that you believe you’re saved and that’s what the churches want you to do. You can church so much that when salvation shows up, you won’t even recognize it.”
Remorse is being sorry you got caught. Suppose you‘re driving fast and got caught by the police (because you broke the speed limit). You are remorseful because had you not got caught you would have kept driving fast. Repentance is being sorry enough to stop what you are doing and change your behavior.
Being inconsistent can be the root of serious failure in many lives because of being away from God and His word. It most often does not start with serious offenses, but small things.
Christians are often accused of being hypocrites. However one should judge Christianity not on the basis of what fakers do, but on the basis of what Jesus taught and how He lived.”
What is happening as a result of religion is a false authority coming from the pulpit to set the people under the authority of man and remove them from under the authority of God.
“All church is, is family. If you can’t create family out of the people you gather with it can’t be church. Jesus forgave, He doesn’t hold anything against you, He died for you. If you have all those things you will create a family and that’s what God wants back. Church is not a business or organization, it’s a family.”
“People ordained to do something for Jesus have no fixed salary, are not in denominational organizations, and they lay down their life because God has given them the sustaining power they need to not charge for the Gospel when they have the right to. Their dependency comes from the power of God not the number of people in the seats. They have the power to ask God to touch the hearts of the people to give and God will lay it upon the ears of the people.”
Most people who have a hard time forgiving themselves are self-righteous. They make themselves right in every light and then come around finding wrong in everything. Some people are in such denial that when they hear something is wrong with them and get convicted, they go fix it because they don’t want to be associated with that. But whatever the case may be you are fixing yourself. You’re self righteous.
“Some of us add our own stipulations in worship. Some people worship and open their eyes an peak around. Some people worship and are uncomfortable because they think everybody is looking at them. They are worried about if their mascara is going to run or if they 're going to look ugly. But why are you concerned about who's looking you? This is not worshiping in spirit and in truth. When you do this you take the authority from Christ and give it to yourself. If you have to scream, scream, if you have to holler, holler, but if you are in worship and you are thinking about the game afterwards, what you want to eat, what you have to do afterwards, then you are not worshipping in spirit and in truth.”
Prophets will sometimes give you instructions on how to repent to God for Him to possibly relent. Where there is repentance there is hope. Sin brings judgment but God’s forgiveness brings rejoicing.
“God chooses prophets from birth; there is no school of the prophets. If a person does go to school what are they appointed over? Prophets are given territories. If nobody appoints you over a territory, then you start working witchcraft.”
Prophetic teaching has a powerful anointing to break witchcraft, bondages, and strongholds over a church. Prophets are able to find the error in a church a break it into pieces by using the Word of God
“In our mind is where we have all the mental nonsense. The thoughts to be or not to be, the noise is etc. So guess what the mind is - the mind is the lie. That’s where all the lies are, in your mind. For example, just the way you think, your imagination, the thought of you're no good, the thought of you’re a failure, the thought of lust, the thought of masturbation, the thought God doesn’t want me, the thought you can’t live holy, it’s a lie.”

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

10. “The only way your faith can be activated is in truth. You can’t have faith in a lie.
If you have faith in a lie and the lie lets you down, then you’re going to lose your
faith.”
“You stay in a lie long enough, it’s harder to get you out because it’s become
the root of you, the core and you believed it. Somebody has lied to you and it’s
been activated in you and when you hear the truth it's battling in you but what
happens is when you no longer want to the hear the truth you suppress it.”
Concerning the eye:
“Understanding the importance of the eye should bring us to an understanding
of natural powers. This is why the illuminati do the all seeing eye because there
is power in your eyes and they want you to believe what you see. They know the
seven spirits is the eye of God. This explains why then they see tornado's and
storms they talk about the eye of the storm because that’s where the power is. It
can tell you where the storm is going to rest and where it is.”
Why do you need a good eye:
“You need a good eye because it’s mandatory to have a sound mind.”
“With a sound mind you can have abundant life.”
11. “When you have holiness no one has to tell you how to be holiness and you don’t
have to copy it. You will be holiness.”
‘When we get real, the only thing that will matter is truth.”

“Whatever controls your mind controls your body.”
“A mind that’s not renewed is subject to the spirit of fear. If your mind is not
renewed, fear can always come in. This is why many can't walk in holy boldness
because we are not sure what to be bold in or who to be bold for.”
“When you do things against your own will, you’re not one with your own will.
Only a saved person can say, "Nevertheless not my will, but Yours." A saved
person can give up their will. If you are still fighting with yourself, and your mind
is not renewed, you will constantly be looking for something deeper when it’s
simple. The things of God are simple. Let God govern and rule your life.”
