This document discusses the concept of faith from a Christian perspective. It defines faith as not being optimism, hope, knowledge or presumption, but rather as accessing the supernatural dimension given by God. It says we have a choice to walk by faith or by sight, and walking by faith pleases God. It provides signs that someone is walking by faith, such as resting in God rather than worrying, and having conviction about realities not yet seen. It encourages readers to exercise faith now by disconnecting the mind and having an appetite for the impossible. It concludes by inviting readers to accept Jesus Christ if they have not already done so.

Emotions round us out, as we are more than our thoughts, perception, reason, or memories. Understanding and identifying emotions so we can express them effectively is key to a healthy life.

Did I forget to include an installation instruction for the system administrators?
Continuous Delivery is a collection of principles and practices aimed at addressing the problems teams typically face when releasing changes to production. By applying rigorous automation, testing and configuration management, teams are able to confidently and consistently deploy changes from version control to production without fear.
In this talk, Mike McGarr will provide listeners with an introduction into the world of Continuous Delivery. After an introduction into the concepts and principles of Continuous Delivery, he will discuss many of the techniques for implementing Continuous Delivery and recommend some tools that can be used on your development project.

We are living in the days where great faith is needed to survive in this world. I often cringe when I look at the news. What do we have to look forward to? Today, we face a volatile economy, with the dow plunging more than 2,300 points on this past Thursday and deemed to be the worst day on Wall Street since 1987 (they are said to have rebounded from the plunge). There is a global crisis, a pandemic, as the coronavirus outbreak continues to spread, topping out at 125,000 cases globally. The world is in a sheer panic with consumers buying items such as, toilet paper and hand sanitizer in bulk and major events, schools and entertainments venues shutting down. As for our political climate, well, Trump is our president. I will leave it at that. Violence and Sodomy, as we know, continues to run rampant. Not to mention the natural disasters we face. This list goes on and on.
This is a study of biblical principles of faith. It is part of the Crossroads programme, written by Dr Kevin Smith and offered by the South African Theological Seminary.
Christians are told that “without faith it is impossible to please Him” (Hebrews 11:6). Jesus Christ raised a sobering question to His disciples. He asked, “when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8).

He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

1. Walk by Faith
by
Apostle Guillermo Maldonado
What IS and What is NOT Faith
1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. -
Hebrews 11: 1
Faith was given by God for us to please Him. The moment you were born again, a desire
entered you to please God. It is impossible to please Him without faith.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must
believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. – Hebrews 11:6
Faith is NOT:
● Optimism. To be and live with a positive attitude is great, but faith is much more than
positivity.
● Hope. Hope is the expectation of something good that will come in the future. You can
hope all your life and nothing will change because it is not faith.
● Knowledge. This comes by the five senses. If you see, hear, smell, taste or feel
something, you know it; you do not believe it.
● Presumption. When we prophesy, we do so according to the measure of faith we have.
You cannot presume to raise up the dead when you do not have the faith to rebuke a
headache. You need revelation to take you from one dimension to another. Revelation is
what demands change so to presume is not the same as faith because faith requires
revelation and conviction.
Two dimensions created by God:
● Natural Dimension: we access by means of our senses
● Supernatural Dimension: we access to by faith
Walk by Faith or by Sight
We were wired by God to believe the impossible.
God created in us an appetite for the impossible. We have two options: to walk by sight
or by faith.
7
For we live by faith, not by sight. - 2 Corinthians 5:7
We live either by one or by the other. Walking by faith pleases God; walking by sight
does not. If you are struggling with unemployment and/or debt, there is no better time to
use your faith than now. If you go by what you hear in the news and are getting
discouraged, you are not walking by faith. If you walk by sight, that will become your
reality; it will become your truth and we all conform to that which is truth to us.
2. Many people need to be delivered from their senses because they do not see beyond their
circumstances. If you are walking by sight, you will get more and more discouraged by
all the bad news. You will be moved by whatever you see and that will make you less
satisfied as each day goes by because you were designed to please God and you will not
be able to do so when you walk by sight.
If God intended us to only walk by sight according to what is going on in our
environment, why did He give us faith?
God designed us to walk in both the natural and the supernatural. Faith is not natural; it is
the supernatural ability given by God to access the spiritual dimension.
If you do not accomplish your goals by faith as you were designed to, you will have
dissatisfaction in your spirit even after you have done it because you did not please God
as you were designed to. On the other hand, when you do things by faith and you
accomplish something, you feel satisfied because you know you pleased your God and
together you are making changes in your life. You feel the joy and peace that God is with
you and is pleased with you.
You need to walk by faith to access the impossible, please God and be satisfied in
everything you do.
Time to Walk by Faith
The times are coming when the Christians will have no choice but to live by faith alone.
The news will depress you because you will see all that is going on and with rightly say,
“I cannot do it; I cannot make ends meet with the situations going on in our nation.” You
will not be able to do it all in your strength, but faith is the supernatural ability by God to
make things happen.
Faith is given by God to all of us for:
● Salvation
● As a fruit of the Spirit – to endure; faithfulness, perseverance. Galatians 5:22
● As a gift of the Spirit
Faith is NOW
Faith will not be. Faith was not. Faith IS. It is not for the future or of the past; it is for the
now.
3
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more
highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance
with the faith God has distributed to each of you. Romans 12:3
3. How to Know When You are Walking by Faith
1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. -
Hebrews 11: 1
Substance is “hupostasis” which means to place or set under. You know you are walking
in faith when you are resting, not eating your nails or busying yourself because of
anxiety. If you are full of fear, you are not living by faith. You do not move by what your
season is telling you but by trusting and believing in the Word of God. Are you resting?
The substance of something represents the essence of something. The broth of a chicken
is not the whole chicken, but it is the substance of the whole chicken. Faith is the essence
of the whole dimension of the glory, anointing and power of the supernatural. It is a taste
of what your future will be. Faith is telling you that you have the substance, but not the
whole thing. In the beginning, man had it all because they lived in the glory. God
removed the glory and replaced it with the substance. You will never know what it feels
like to be prosperous or healed if you do not walk by faith. If you wake up and say, I will
get a job because the Lord will do it, you ARE walking by faith and not by sight.
Do not move by what the news says but by the Word of God. He will open a way where
there is no way. So sit down and rest in the midst of the crisis, in the midst of sickness!
Whenever you see someone busy and occupied in the mind and restless, tell them to
relax! God is greater than your sickness and your problem. God has come today to give
you hope, and even more than hope, He has come to give you faith to overcome your
problem. Tell the devil he is a liar! Rest under God. Rest in believing that you will not die
because of the sickness, you will not be homeless, you will not have to worry about who
is going to take over your family because you cannot provide... Rest under God. Know
you will have the hand of God over your life. Your provision is not from the visible
dimension; it is from heaven. Take your hope away from this world and establish it in
heaven! Receive the faith God is giving you now!
Evidence is “elegchos” which means previous knowledge, conviction, proof. You are
aware of a a reality ahead of its time. When you bring evidence, though you were not at
the scene, it convicts as though you were.
Jesus did not go crazy when he was told that his friend Lazarus was sick and died. Jesus
had faith, a conviction within Him, that he would be raised from the dead. Do not go into
business with someone if you do not have a conviction to do so. Do not go to any church
that you do not have a conviction for. The conviction is the title deed. You are convinced
that you are healed in your body regardless of what the doctor has diagnosed. You are
convinced that your marriage is restored regardless of the struggles. If you do not have
the conviction, you do not have the title deed for that which you are hoping for. If you
have conviction that your children will come back home and walk in the things of God,
you have the title deed!
4. If you believe that God is your Provider, you will get a job by the end of next week. If
you believe He is your Healer, by the time you finish reading this you will receive your
healing. Do not let people push you to do something you do not have the conviction for.
When you have the conviction that you have the power of God in you, no demon in hell
can stop you. The title deed is inside of you. Sit down and believe God will do it.
Faith is Now!
Original translation of Hebrews 11:1 says, “Faith is the reality and foundation where
hope lives and is established; it is the reality of all that exists in the supernatural
dimension and exercises control and dominion over the things that we do not see.”
The person that walks by faith is the person that walks and exercises dominion over the
invisible things because the invisible is the root of the natural things. When you exercise
dominion of any generational curse, the sickness in the body will die. Walking by faith is
having dominion of the spiritual dimension where God exists. We do not see it or touch
it, but we have access to it when we sit down, believe and we have that conviction inside
of us. Move according your conviction. Wherever your conviction is, that is where your
faith is. Now is the moment where you go and open your business. Faith is not tomorrow
or in the past; it is now. You have been waiting for so long to get a job and all this time
you have had the conviction to open your business. Do it now!
If you want to walk in faith, disconnect your mind. When you walk by faith, numbers
don’t count. If you are not moving, get desperate. Increase your appetite for the
impossible. Faith feeds from the impossibilities. One day, God told Noah to build an ark
though he was in the desert and it had never rained before. It was unreasonable but
whenever you don’t understand something, disconnect your mind and walk by faith.
If you are without a job, God will open doors within the next 30 days for you to have
your breakthrough. Receive it with conviction! Thank God now for your job. Go out
tomorrow and take it!
If you have never received Jesus as your personal Savior, today is your day to encounter
the love of Christ. You are not here by chance. We are all sinners and the wages of sin is
death but God’s love for us is SO great that He sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die on
the cross for all of our sins so that we can enter into a relationship with Him and can
access all of the blessings and promises He designed for us to have. It does not matter
what you have done, where you come from, or what you may be going through, God is
here to bring healing, restoration and salvation. If you have never received Jesus Christ or
if you once walked with God but you turned away and you want to return to the feet of
the cross, say this prayer:
Father God, I come to You recognizing that I am a sinner and my sin separates me from
You. Jesus, I repent of all my sins. Forgive me. Wash me with Your blood. I accept You as
my Lord and Savior. I believe You died for me and God the Father raised You from the
dead. Jesus Christ, come into my heart and change me. I proclaim that You are my Lord
5. and my Savior and if I were to die today, when I open my eyes I will be in your arms. In
Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
We want to pray for you. Contact our church and let us know that you just prayed this
prayer. Connect with us so that we can pray for your needs and serve you.
