2. What are SDGs?
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),
also known as the Global Goals, were adopted
by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal
call to action to end poverty, protect the planet,
and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace
and prosperity.
3. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),
are a collection of 17 interlinked goals
designed to be a “blueprint to achieve a better
and more sustainable future for all”.
They address the global challenges we face ,
including poverty, inequality, climate change,
environmental degradation, peace and justice.

ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification,
and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss

development, provide access to justice for all and build

Global Partnership for Sustainable Development
