This document summarizes a master's project conducted at the University of Michigan in 2005. The project involved researching and designing guidelines for the restoration of the Tsar's Palace and Park in Bialowieza, Poland. The research comprised gathering historical documents, plans, and photos of the palace and park. This information was compiled and a new dynamic design was produced to promote increased use while adhering to historic precedent. The final project was required to specify all restoration materials and provide evidence for any substitutes to comply with Polish law.
