 Main objective:









to raise awareness of the importance of caring for our planet
General objectives:
Conocer las características del planeta que habita, y
particularmente cómo se describe y comprende el concepto y
características de los ecosistemas.
Comprender cuáles son los problemas ambientales y cómo ha
influido el hombre en su existencia y agravamiento.
Conocer cuáles son las medidas para el cuidado del medio
ambiente que el alumno y su entorno pueden llevar a cabo y
tomar conciencia de que es el alumno quien debe aplicarlas en
la medida de sus posibilidades.
Comprender que todos los seres humanos deben colaborar
con el cuidado del medio ambiente.

the topic. New vocabulary items. Explanation on the
Project. 10 min.
 Speaking activity: Use of a Picture with animals and
some landscape. Nature. Encouragement to use new
vocabulary items. 10 min.
 Reading activity: Mind map. Use of the text
“ECOLOGY. THE BIOSPHERE. ECOSYSTEMS”.
Comprehensive reading. Mind Map
Explanation, discussion in groups, discussion with
the whole class.
 Preparation 15 min. Reading Activity 25 m. Full
discussion 20.
2nd Sequence: ACCION DEL HOMBRE SOBRE
EL MEDIO AMBIENTE.
 Warming up activity: Use of realia. Gums, plastic








bottle. Cans. Batteries. Elicit their meaning and
effects on the Environment, from the students.
Speaking conversation: Use of Flashcards with
Pollution, Factories that polute rivers, cumulate
garbich, etc. (image and name). Mention every one.
Wool ball. Moved benches for more room. Go-round.
Personal questions from a list. “What do you think
pollution is? What can you do to prevent pollution?
Do you recycle, and how?.
Every Student: the tip of the Wool ball; and pass.
Questions for personal feelings towards the activity.
3rd Sequence: LO QUE CADA UNO PUEDE
HACER.
 Warming up: Some words from the teacher: What we






can do to prevent pollution. What we do every day.
A Song: EARTH SONG. Two times. Lyrics. Practice
the song.
Writing activity: Banner preparation. The same
groups of four or five.
Every banner: A sub-topic: Pollution. Ecosystems.
Human Actions against Environment. Human
Actions to prevent pollution.
Whole class discussion and presentation of every
banner. Afterwards banners will remain stuck on the
classroom wall.
