The document discusses regulations for personal protective equipment (PPE) at work and signage requirements. The PPE at Work Regulations 1992 require that PPE be supplied and used at work where there are health and safety risks that cannot be controlled otherwise. The regulations define PPE as equipment intended to protect workers from risks like helmets, gloves, and high-visibility clothing. Signage must be provided to indicate required PPE for different zones, with nine color-coded zones outlined for an example work area.
