2. Launched in 2010, with an initiative of the President of the Chamber of Commerce
of Udine, Giovanni Da Pozzo, the Friuli Future Forum project is offered as an
innovative tool to support the economic and social growth of Friuli. The program has
focused on enterprises and the future, in partnership with organisations,
universities, cultural circles and research entities in the area
In 2013, within the Friuli Future Forum program, arose the project named “The
schools for an Agenda for the Future – Udine 2024”, a network of high schools that
worked on ideas for the future of the city of Udine and its territory. The different
projects included considerations on the future of the School, technological and
technical innovations, enterprise ideas for tourism, local gastronomy, green energy,
proposals for the restoration of abandoned factories. All these ideas produced an
intense debate centred on the sense of active responsibility of young people towards
their own future.
