An exquisite range of dishes:
Fish, turtle, snail, lobster, fish
balls, fish, beans and shredded
salted meats (beef, pork, pork and
fish tail), there are a great variety
of delicious dishes in San Andrés.
Some natives sectors fed beef and
green iguana, mainly in the island
of Providence.

3. RONDÓN
Without doubt, the most
typical. It consists of a slug
or medallion fish, snail,
cassava, yams, pigtail, baked
banana and domplines (flour
tortillas), bathed and cooked
in coconut milk with pepper.
4. FISH BALL
Any kind of fish can be used to
make fish ball (meatballs):
parrotfish, snapper, bream and
even black crab. The secret is
to remove the thorns and
season well with tomatoes,
onion, garlic, salt and species
they are delicious specially
fried.
5. BREADFRUIT
Breadfruit is the typical fruit
in San Andrés Island, which
is served fried or cooked
with different dishes. It is
consumed when it is still
green and it isn´t matured
for a better tasting.
6. DRESSERTS
In the afternoon, after lunch,
you can find women who
exhibit and sell traditional
sweets of the island as coconut
candies and coconut balls are a
delightful experience to be
tasted. Also fruit juices, cakes,
corn and bananas are popular.
7. DRINKS
The Islander typical drink is prepared with Ron and
Coconut, call it "Cocoloco".
One of the most delicious drinks of this beautiful
island must be with all typical dishes.
There are incredible cocktails
Cocktail San Francisco, add pineapple. The
greater San Francisco cocktail has sugar or
liquefied natural fruit, it´s also lightweight and
healthier.
Piña Colada : It is a popular drink that is made of
a mixture of Ron, pineapple juice and coconut,
getting a rich sugary alcoholic beverage.
