Troy Andrews, known as Trombone Shorty, began playing trombone and leading a band at the young age of six. He attended the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts and has since had a successful career, playing with major artists like Lenny Kravitz, Aerosmith, U2, and Green Day. Trombone Shorty has also appeared on the HBO show Treme and played in the Super Bowl victory parade for the New Orleans Saints in 2009.
