2. Why I chose the title?
I chose the title because that is what the film is going to be about, instead of
the actual destination, Las Vegas. The trip to Las Vegas will determine
whether the characters will get there or not due to the trouble caused on the
journey. It was inspired by the film title, “What Happened in Vegas”. Trip to
Las Vegas sounds like it has some comedy in it and films associated with
Las Vegas normally are comedies. By some people Las Vegas is seen as
the “city of sin”, and as I am doing a pitch for a rated 18 comedy on this trip
to Las Vegas there will be a lot of sex, drugs rock and roll.

3. PLOT
A group of people from different parts of Chicago win a trip to Las Vegas.
They all meet in the same airport but unfortunately the flight is cancelled due
to severe weather but one of the characters is a fugitive who is on the run
from the police, he knows the police knows exactly where he is, so he
manages to persuade the others who’ve won trip to Las Vegas that they do
not want to wait for the next flight to Las Vegas and hires out an old tour bus
that was once used by Madonna. Once they make tracks to Las Vegas they
entail a chaotic trip there involving sex, drugs, death, nearly driving the bus
into the grand canyon. Whether they all get there in one piece or not is in
God’s hands.

4. MAIN CHARACTERS
Mila Kunis as MOLLY: Molly, like the others, has won a trip to Las Vegas and can bring
up to 3 guests with her or none at all. She has decided to bring her two best friends
Darcy (Lisa-ann) and Frankie (Rebel Wilson) as a celebration for graduating. She is the
most innocent one out of her friends and falls in love with Buddy (Owen Wilson), whilst
her other two friends are just after the sex, and is unaware he is a fugitive and gets her to
have a threesome with him and Frankie. She gets depressed because she now realises
she loves him more than he loves her and he’s playing with her, with that during a pit
stop she goes for a walk and meets handsome and mysterious hitch hiker Ryan (Alex
Pettyfer) and invites him along the journey.
Jim Carrey as BOB: Bob is a crack addict who is suffering from sever
depression from the divorce of his third marriage to his wife, Melissa (who
doesn’t appear in the film) and anything else that goes wrong is the last straw.
When he discovers he’s won a trip to Las Vegas from an advert he’s found in
the street, he lightens up as the future looks bright for him, he meets the other
winners through the delayed flight and joins them on the hired tour bus. They
celebrate with booze and snacks they bought in duty free. Bob gets drunk and
snogs Carter (David Spade) who is bisexual and they have sex. When he
wakes up the next morning he realises what he’s done but he is okay about it,
says he fancies Carter but Carter doesn’t fancy him and ignores him for the rest
of the day. Throughout that day Bob discovers he has nothing in common with
everyone on the bus as they walk all over him and he thinks the world would be
a better place without him, so he shuts himself in a cupboard and overdoses.
He is found dead the next day.

5. MAIN CHARACTERS
Ashanti as KIM: She has hope when both her and her fiancé Wallace (Chris Tucker) win
the trip to Las Vegas as she thinks this is the chance him and her could get closer in
their relationship and she hopes he has a proposal in mind. Unfortunately, during the
journey in the tour bus her fiancé gets frisky with Darcy (Lisa-ann) and she walks in on
them. In fury opens the cupboard to pack her clothes and a dead Bob falls out. She
screams, naked, both Wallace and Darcy scream and the rest of the tour bus gathers
round dead body. They decide to keep the dead body and puts him in the massive fridge
to preserve. Kim pays her fiancé, Wallace back when Molly picks up gorgeous hitch
hiker Ryan. Molly goes to the bathroom to make herself look nice for Ryan before they
have sex and Kim walks into the room Ryan is laying in bed in which is pitch black. Ryan
thinking it’s Molly that’s finished getting ready quite quickly has sex with Kim, not
realising it’s Kim. Kim gets found out and all hell breaks loose. Molly has turned into a
zombie by looking into two bright green looking eyes through the toilet window and
salvages Kim.
Lisa ann as Darcy: Friend of Molly and Frankie. She is a
seductress that flirts with everyone. Not a main character
but when the bus is nearly falls into the grand canyon the
fridge falls on top of her, crushes her and her bloody
implants explode all over Frankie.

6. MAIN CHARACTERS
Owen Wilson as BUDDY: He is a fugitive on the run, he
quickly convinces the other winners when the flight is
cancelled to hire a tour bus as the police know his flight
has cancelled and know where he is, what they do not
know is that he will hire this tour bus. Everything is
going well until Bob dies from an overdose and after
being put in the fridge to preserve, has been eaten by
zombie. He plays with Molly’s heart as well. When they
stop in the middle of nowhere he has to squat for the
loo outside as Frankie (Rebel Wilson) has blocked the
one and only toilet on the bus. As he is squatting the
police draw up behind him and ask him to put his hands
up, he manages to turn around but when he does this a
zombie comes up behind him and slices him in two with
its teeth, leaving the squatting legs still well ...squatting,
and the police get attacked aswell.

7. NARRATIVE
present tense, there will be no story telling, it will be set somewhere in
America (chicago) that's about a days travel away from Las Vegas.
There will be actors/actresses like Mila Kunis who is a very popular
choice in most comedies that are rated 15 and over. Lisa ann is a very
famous porn star and will be very popular amongst young men and
some young women.

8. DEMONSTRATING CONVENTIONS WITHIN
THE GENRE
It's a comedy aimed at people in their late teens and over, so the disasters that
happen on the trip will be funny, possibly real life situations other than the fact
that zombies will attack them.
There hasn't been a film with this title before, some of the
actors/actresses haven't done a film together before. It’s also a comedy
that has gore in it but the goriness is quite funny.
WHAT WILL MAKE FILM DIFFERENT?

Not everyone can watch this film, but lots of college students/uni
students will be attracted to the film and want to see it with their
friends. It may not be very family friendly but it would be a good
film to watch with your friends
