The simple past (regular verbs)
-ed
We ‘make’ the past tense of regular verbs by adding ‘-ed’. For verbs ending in ‘e’,
we just add a ‘d’!

The simple past (irregular verbs)
Irregular verbs are the ones without ‘-ed’.
They isn’t much logic to them, so you need to memorise them.
Many irregular verbs are very old words (ate, drink) and are used a lot.
