Make chain and return;
wrap yarn around hook.
Insert into 3 chains.
Pass from
the bottom of
knitting to its
top part.
Picking up 1 stitch from
inside chain, form 3
stitches on hook. Wrap
yarn around hook.
Pass to the bottom of
knitting again with a
pause.
By passing through 3 stitches on
hook, gather them at once, and
continue knitting by applying the
same steps onto adjacent chain. So that yarn
is like at the
top part of
knitting.
Repeat the procedures
starting from step 1.
Move from the back side of the work (Point
A) to the front side. Insert in Point B and
pass to the back side of the work, and
again proceed to the front side through
Point C........, repeating the procedures
from point A. Backstitch is used for joining
and ornaments.
Wrap yarn around the needle as seen in
the image. Poke down at Point A and while
proceeding to Point B, pass the yarn through
the bottom of pinpoint. Repeat the steps
immediately next to the point A. It is used for the

Bring the yarn to the front side of the knitting work.
Move from the point B immediately next to the same
place to the point B. Wrap the yarn in the eye of the
needle as many as you want around the pinpoint and
pull the yarn through the wraps. Knot the resulting bud
pulling the yarn on the knit downward so that the bud
is created. Proceed from the bottom of the bud to the
back side of the knitting work so that 1 bud is created.

Begin from point A. While passing from the back
side (point B) to the point C, pass the yarn under
the needle point and pull the needle. Poke down
at Point D and pass to the front side of the knitting
work at Point A. Repeat the same steps.
Work each stitch on knitting in one-way-
bias as seen in the sketch, and then,
make an “X” form over those stitches to
complete embroidery. It is used at the
borders and jacquard applications on
knitting.
Poke down at Point A and pass to the Point B.
Continue embroidering from Point C as seen
in the image. Make the side seams in different
colors and finish off ornamentation. It is used for
the ornamentation in the front side of the knitting
work.
Bring the needle through Point A to the
Point B. Wrap the yarn of the needle
on the knitting work twice and pull the
needle through the wraps and tie a knot.
It is used on the edges or parts which are
not wanted to ravel.
Firstly draw the border to be
worked on or determine it
with a stitch. Embroider on the
border as seen in the fi gure.
Start from point A. While working points B
and C, pass the yarn under the needle tip
and stick out at point A. Repeating these
steps, make daisy.
Bring the yarn out at A to the upper part. Insert the
needle at B and bring it out at C, midway between
A and B. Insert the needle at the next stitch and
bring it out at C. Continue working in this way. This
stitch is used for fl ower stems.

Firstly determine the ground
on which the satin stitch will
be worked. Embroider as
seen in the fi gure.
Work the embroideries at
the bottom and upper part
of the knitting work,
following the desired line
on the knitting work as
seen in the fi gure. It is
used for knitting seams
and ornamentations.

As seen in the fi gure, work jacquard on the
knitting work following loop rows according to
the needle’s direction of penetration in and
pull-out of loop on the knitting work. It is used
to embroider pattern on the knitting.
