This document summarizes tribology analyses performed by RG Bayer on a wide range of applications from 1960-2004 to resolve or avoid wear problems. The applications range from large agricultural equipment to microelectronic components. For each application, the component analyzed and corresponding problem addressed by the tribology analysis is listed, such as wear of blower cage bearings in appliances, friction and lubrication of parking brake pedals in automobiles, and wear of printer hammers and impact surfaces.
