The first Kolu House Boat, ‘ Shellane ' was built in the year 1940 by Mohammad Kolu. In the year 1944, two more special class houseboats, ‘ Shabash ' and 'New Shallanne' were built in the Dal Lake by a joint venture of four Kolu brothers. The four brothers' joint venture consisted of Ahmed Kolu, Jumma Kolu, Ghulam Qadir Kolu and Mohammad Ramzan Kolu. Day 1:Arrive Jammu -Katra
Arrival Jammu . Placard pickup at airport & transfer to Katra having Darshans of Kol Kondoli Temple at Nagrota & Devi Mayi Maa Temple enroute. Check in at your hotel in Katra for Overnight stay.
Day 2:Mata Vashino Devi Darshan
After early breakfast Trek for Bhavan (13kms) OR move to Helipad & take Chopper to Bhawan Mata Vaishno Deviji (at extra cost); carrying Pooja Bhaint -On arrival at Bhawan check into room for wash, change & later go for ESCORTED VVIP darshans of Mata Vaishno Devi Ji -Mata Saraswati Ji & Mata Lakshmi Ji. After darshans partake Heavy Snacks / Veg Thali (depending upon the time) at the Shrine Board Bhojhanalya. Return to Katra & overnight in Katra. 6. DAY 01: ARRIVE Srinagar -Sonmarg
You will be met by Travel Excellence representative at the airport and you will straight drive to Sonmarg on Arrival check in at your hotel. Evening free at leisure Over night stay at hotel.
DAY 02: SONMARG -BALTAL -AMARNATH -SRINAGAR
Today early morning proceed for visit to Baltal. Where you can Start trek for Amarnath holy cave (3953 m) where you can see ice shivlingam. this holy cave is visited by thousands of hindu Pilgrims on the full moon. From Amarnath steep descend towards Baltal 4hrs walk and drive back to SrinagarOver night stay at hotel / Houseboats.
Optional: One can travel by Air to amaranth jee as well by Helicopter
DAY 03: IN SRINAGAR
After breakfast leave for Srinagar, Full day at Srinagar visit Mughal Gardensand Shankracharya Temple(Shiva temple), from where you can view the magnificent beauty of srinagar city and lakes. In the afternoon enjoy the Shikara ride on Dal Lakeover night at houseboat / Hotel.
DAY 04 DEPART SRINAGAR
After breakfast you will be transferred to Srinagar airport in time to board flight for your onward destination.

7. DAY 01: ARRIVE Srinagar (by flight: 9W 603 -ETA 1235 hrs)

Srinagar (Lake City)-It is at once a collection of images: It tells the story of love of the Mughal Emperors for this paradise like vale with deep green rice fields, rivers, gardens in bloom and lakes rimmed by houseboats, where lush wild gardens of lotus and water-lily grow amidst bustling lanes.
Afternoon visit important sights of Srinagar City -Shankaracharya Temple & Mughal Gardens
Shankaracharya Temple (Hindu Shrine)-Situated on the highest hill of Srinagar , it is nearly one thousand feet above the city. The temple commands a magnificent panoramic view of the Srinagar city. It is devoted to lord Shiva. The site dates back to 2500 BC. The philosopher Shankaracharya stayed at this site when he visited Kashmir ten centuries ago to revive sanatandharma.
NishatBagh( Garden of Pleasure )-The largest Mughal garden situated on the banks of world famous Dal-Lake in the backdrop of Zabarwanhills encircles the Dal Lake. Empress NoorJahan'sbrother AsifKhan laid the Garden in 1633 AD. Nishathas seven terraces with a beautiful central water course flowing right in the middle. These terraces rise dramatically off the mountains from the eastern part of the lake.
Shalimar Bagh( Garden of Pleasure )-It was planted by Mughal emperor Jehangirfor Empress NoorJahanin 1619 AD and later extended in 1727 A.D. by Shah Jahan. Shaded by magnificent Chinartrees, the Shalimar is a series of stone pavilions and flowing water with paint box bright flower beds. The Garden blooms with innumerable varieties of flowers in spring and autumn.
Afternoon will be at leisure, free for independent activities.

8. DAY 02: GULMARG excursion (by surface: 55 kms-1.5 hrs) Morning proceed for a picturesque drive to Gulmarg. Gulmarg(Meadow of Gold)-It was discovered as a tourist destination by the British in the 19th century. Prior to that, Mughal emperors vacationed in the Gulmargvalley which is about 03 kmslong and up-to 01 km wide. It is exquisitely situated in a pine surrounded basin of the PirPanjalrange at an altitude of 2,730 meters above sea level and one of the most famous tourist destinations of Kashmir . It also has one of the world's highest green golf courses with 18 holes, as well as a clubhouse, which is a historical building in its own right. OPTIONAL-One can enjoy Gondola ride or Horse ride at Gulmarg. For a fun-filled ride of a most unusual kind, Gulmarg'snewly constructed gondola lift from high above Gulmarg, through pine-clad slopes is exhilarating. From Gulmarga pony track leads upwards to Khilanmarg, Kangdori& seven springs, a couple of hours by pony longer on foot.
