The past is just that past! As Christians we have to now view ourselves as Christ views us! That is holy, sanctified, and justified. We are set apart in Christ and are happy to renounce our past for what we have in Christ and our future glory! We study in this lesson why we let go of our past.
For a Christian tears hold a special place. It is a good thing for us to cry after a godly sort. The Bible is full of examples of people who she had hot tears.

Mozambique holiday packages offer something for everyone – romantic honeymoons, family holidays with plenty of beach and nightly activities or a scuba diving adventure in the warm Indian Ocean. Most Mozambique beach resorts offer snorkelling, wind surfing, fishing, sailing, kite surfing or just plain walking every day into the distance on long white beaches.

Are we trying to impress the world? Are we trying to impress others? Who are we trying to impress? Ultimately we can impress no one, not even God. But rewards are with God, not because we can impress him, but because he honors those that love him.
This is a study of Jesus being in love with secret praying. Jesus did not like public prayer to draw attention to self, but love secret prayer where attention was on God alone.
Seek Ye First The Kingdom of God - The Sermon On The Mount Continues.
From the Manual: https://www.lds.org/manual/new-testament-gospel-doctrine-teachers-manual/lesson-9-seek-ye-first-the-kingdom-of-god?lang=eng
Many people think it is enough that they pray without ever bothering to know who God is, what His plans are, how He answers prayers and how man should communicate with Him.
It is common to see people praying only when they have a pressing need at hand. The needs they bring to God vary from finances to health to career success to material things to relationships. This is the kind of prayer, which hardly makes time for listening and understanding, fits well those who almost always rush to get ahead in life.
Just what kind of prayer brings a life of purpose and blessing? Is it the one that we can easily memorize and recite when we are too desperate already? Is it the one that tolerates small sins that we think don’t matter much to God? Or is it the sort that encourages us to be more religious or push confidently for our plans?
So much can be said about prayer but if we want to intimately experience God through prayer then we ought to turn and cling to what is perfect, reliable and true---the Bible.
It is the hope of this message to share what the Bible clearly says about prayer and lead the hearers to understand how biblical prayer can align their lives with God’s purposes.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

2. TRANSFORMED IN MY WORSHIP
TRANSFORMED IN MY CHOICES
TRANSFORMED IN MY POSSESSIONS
TRANSFORMED IN MY ACTIONS
TRANSFORMED IN MY PLANS
TRANSFORMED IN MY PRAYER
4. DISCUSS: WHAT COMES TO MIND WHEN YOU THINK OF WORSHIP?
WORSHIP IS FOR AN AUDIENCE OF ONE.
WORSHIP IS BOTH PRIVATE AND PUBLIC.
5. THE DISCIPLINE OF GIVING
CONSIDER GIVING AS AN ACT OF WORSHIP.
IT HAS TO BE A DEVOTION
6. • Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be
seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your
Father which is in heaven.
• 2
Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound
a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the
synagogues and in the streets, that they may have
glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their
reward.
• 3
But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know
what thy right hand doeth:
• 4
That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father
which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee
openly.
7. THE DISCIPLINE OF WORSHIPFUL GIVING
1.I recognize You own it all.
2.I recognize You as my Provider and all I have is from You.
3.I am thankful for my salvation in Christ.
4.I want to join You in Your work in the lives of others.
5.I recognize my giving is an opportunity to be Your hands and
feet to the poor.
6.I recognize that You reward faithful obedience, and even as i
give, You will continue to take care of me.
8. LET’S TALK: How would you describe the
connection between GIVING and WORSHIP?
9. THE PRACTICE OF PRAYING
ACKNOWLEDGE PRAYING AS AN ACT OF WORSHIP.
IT HAS TO BE A PRACTICE.
10. •
5
And when thou prayest, thou shalt
not be as the hypocrites are: for
they love to pray standing in the
synagogues and in the corners of
the streets, that they may be seen
of men. Verily I say unto you, They
have their reward.
• 6
But thou, when thou prayest, enter
into thy closet, and when thou hast
shut thy door, pray to thy Father
which is in secret; and thy Father
which seeth in secret shall reward
thee openly.
• 7
But when ye pray, use
not vain repetitions, as
the heathen do: for they
think that they shall be
heard for their much
speaking.
• 8
Be not ye therefore like
unto them: for your
Father knoweth what
things ye have need of,
before ye ask him.
11. THE PRACTICE OF WORSHIPFUL PRAYING
NB: Jesus’ warning doesn’t diminish the value of public prayer in
worship. Jesus was addressing the motive of the heart.
1.The hypocrites headed to the street corners and made a great
show of their prayers. Since God knew their hearts, their actions
didn’t impress Him.
2.Jesus said we should pray in the same way we give: humbly and
privately. As with giving, Jesus wasn’t speaking against praying
publicly; He spoke against praying for the attention and approval of
others.
3.When we pray, we’re to focus our attention on God.
13. THE DISCIPLINE OF FASTING
ACKNOWLEDGE FASTING AS AN ACT OF WORSHIP.
IT POSITIONS US FOR THE PRESENCE & POWER OF
GOD.
14. •
16
Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of
a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that
they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto
you, They have their reward.
• 17
But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and
wash thy face;
• 18
That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy
Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth
in secret, shall reward thee openly.
15. THE DISCIPLINE OF WORSHIPFUL FASTING
1.I choose to abstain from food and some pleasures for a period of
time for the purpose of growing closer to the Lord.
2.I choose to humble myself, realizing my weaknesss, and trusting
in Your strength.
3.I disconnect myself from anything that easily entangles and set
all my desires on You.
16. LET’S TALK: Why is fasting such a neglected
discipline in most churches?
