The document discusses the story from the Bible of the poor widow who gave two small copper coins to the temple, which was all she had to live on. It contrasts her generosity with the wealthy who gave out of their abundance. The main points made are:
1) Jesus praised the poor widow for her sacrifice, as she gave all she had, rather than the wealthy who gave from their excess.
2) Generosity is determined not by the amount given but by the sacrifice made, as the widow sacrificed her livelihood.
3) The poor widow's example of sacrificial giving is held up as a model for Christians to emulate in their donations and service.

This document discusses storytelling and cinema from a theological perspective. It argues that stories and films can reveal spiritual truths and invite viewers to have deeper empathy for humanity. Movies can lead viewers beyond just what is seen and heard to understand the deeper meaning and implications for faith. Some examples of films that showcase redemption, mercy, and revelation are discussed. The document also references Thomas Merton's idea of cultural mysticism, where encountering stories and art can transport people to other places and help them see beauty in other people.
This is a study of Jesus rejecting His rejecters. They were invited to the feast but made one excuse after another, and so in the end they were rejected and the banquet was opened up for everyone to come. Those who were first were last and rejected.

Practical Religion Chapter 12 The WorldScott Thomas
This chapter discusses separation from the world. It begins by defining "the world" as those who prioritize earthly things over heavenly things. It then discusses how the world is dangerous to the soul by citing several Bible passages. It notes that true separation is not about withdrawing from society, but rather refusing to be guided by worldly standards and priorities. The chapter outlines several "secrets of victory" over the world, including having a heart renewed by the Holy Spirit, maintaining a lively faith in unseen spiritual realities, and boldly confessing Christ. It concludes by exhorting readers to overcome the world rather than be overcome by it.
Jesus loves to hear praise and thankfulness from people because it makes him happy, similar to how people enjoy receiving thanks for gifts they give. When people praise and thank Jesus for the blessings in their lives, it makes him feel glad and want to give more blessings. Even during times of sadness, praising Jesus for the good things in one's life can help a person feel better. Jesus wants people to know how much he loves it when they praise him.

Karma yoga chapter v we help ourselves, not the world.Ravi Ramakrishnan
Swami #Vivekananda Bengali: , Shāmi Bibekānondo; 12 January 1863 – 4 July 1902), born #Narendranath Datta, was an Indian Hindu monk, a chief disciple of the 19th-century Indian mystic Ramakrishna. He was a key figure in the introduction of the Indian philosophies of# Vedanta and #Yoga to the Western world and is credited with raising #interfaith awareness, bringing Hinduism to the status of a major world religion during the late 19th century. He was a major force in the revival of Hinduism in India, and contributed to the concept of nationalism in colonial India. Vivekananda founded the #Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission. He is perhaps best known for his speech which began, "Sisters and brothers of America ...," in which he introduced Hinduism at the Parliament of the World's Religions in Chicago in 1893.
Born into an aristocratic Bengali family of Calcutta, Vivekananda was inclined towards spirituality. He was influenced by his Guru, Ramakrishna Deva, from whom he learnt that all living beings were an embodiment of the divine self; therefore, service to God could be rendered by service to mankind. After Ramakrishna's death, Vivekananda toured the Indian subcontinent extensively and acquired first-hand knowledge of the conditions prevailing in British India. He later traveled to the United States, representing India at the 1893 Parliament of the World Religions. Vivekananda conducted hundreds of public and private lectures and classes, disseminating tenets of Hindu philosophy in the United States, England and Europe. In India, Vivekananda is regarded as a patriotic saint and his birthday is celebrated there as National Youth Day.

Homily: 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time A 2017James Knipper
This document summarizes a pastor's reflection on a Gospel passage about workers in a vineyard receiving equal pay regardless of how long they worked. The pastor notes that as we age, we develop "seasoned minds" and see things through filters of our experiences, unlike children with "beginner's minds." Jesus used parables to challenge these seasoned minds. The parable illustrates that God's love is a gift, not something earned, and we should not judge who God loves. We often cry "unfair" when things don't go our way, but we need to let go of pain and judgments, and accept God's unconditional love and generosity.

in understanding of what is handed on, both the words and the
realities they signify. This comes about through contempla-
tion and study by believers, who "ponder these things in their
hearts" (see Lk 2,19 and 51); through the intimate understand-
ing of spiritual things which they experience; and through the
preaching of whose who, on succeeding to the office of bish-
op, receive the sure charisma of truth. Thus, as the centuries
advance, the church constantly holds its course towards the
fullness of God's truth, until the day when the words of God
reach their fulfillment in the church.

Unit V Reflection Paper
My Vocation
I have been blessed with the gift of effective counseling, especially on social psychological problems. This gift is based on my quick ability to build trust with people and initiate open and free conversations with people. This way, I can easily let people open up and share what they are going through. In me, I bear the gifts of love and kindness. I have always been concerned about the mental health of others, especially those in psychological situations that have limited their abilities in life. I have an ingrained commitment towards reaching them and attempting to extricate them from these life-limiting conditions. I have always done this since my early years in school basing this commitment on the biblical teachings in Proverbs 31:8-9 that, as Christians, we should speak up for the rights of the poor and defend their rights.
I am passionate about seeing people who regain their smiles again after mentally and spiritually bruising battles. This life is full of challenges, evils, and obstacles that impede man's happiness and fulfillment. Many individuals have indelible memories that prevent them from achieving happiness and being socially productive in the course of supporting others. I have, therefore, many times taken it upon myself to help these people overcome these challenges and revert to their healthy lives. Studies have revealed that the most significant potential limiting situations are those of bitterness, anger, regret, anxiety, rivalry, and even self-doubts (Wachholtz & Fitch, 2018). These factors cause shame, negative and self-destructive energy, and low energy and zeal to perform tasks and responsibilities.
My greatest joy has been in seeing people regain their strength and reverting to their desired positive courses. According to the South African bishop Desmond Tutu, all human beings are born with the innate desire to do well and help others (Best et al., 2015). Therefore, I have found self-fulfillment not only in helping people recover from unfavorable circumstances but also in seeing them realize their positive missions in this world and embarking on them. These people have become part of my life, and I thank God because their success stories have always provided so much comfort, that I have always found spiritual renewal every morning.
I believe I have been called to help people overcome all forms of psychological torture. The calling demands that I put all possible efforts to liberate these people, including doing advocacy communication, speaking truth to authorities about the emotional suffering people, and even taking the initiative to do psychotherapy to these people. A divine calling provides one with the zeal and energy to serve and renews this commitment in the face of whatever adversity (Panchuk, 2018). This calling has helped me overcome many hurdles that have come.

It discusses how the narrator initially doubts the story told to him by Lionel Wallace about finding a mysterious green door in a wall as a child, but comes to believe the story is true. Wallace was haunted by memories of the door and a feeling of beauty and happiness he experienced upon finding it. The summary discusses how Wallace was a successful man but also detached at times, and how the door seemed to represent an ideal world or source of meaning for him that real life could not provide. It analyzes the different perspectives of Wells as author, the narrator, Wallace as the subject of the story, and the reader in

The Pleiadians have been contacting humans for thousands of years to help guide Earth's evolution. They most recently made contact with Eduard Meier in Switzerland, sharing information to help humanity progress spiritually. The Pleiadians hope to gently raise awareness of their existence and help Earth transition peacefully into an interstellar family. Their goal is to stimulate higher consciousness and help resolve differences between nations to create lasting peace.
The document discusses how the world is experiencing rapid changes that require people to reinvent themselves. New technologies have made the world more connected but have also increased the speed of life. Many spiritual communities are growing as people's consciousness and awareness expands. The world passed through a major shift on December 21, 2012, and people are now awakening with new insights and abilities. However, these changes have also brought greater suffering for some from issues like war, violence and environmental threats. The passage encourages people to embrace the changes, seek guidance through meditation, and work with others to create solutions and bring healing to humanity.

How to Fix the Import Error in the Odoo 17Celine George
An import error occurs when a program fails to import a module or library, disrupting its execution. In languages like Python, this issue arises when the specified module cannot be found or accessed, hindering the program's functionality. Resolving import errors is crucial for maintaining smooth software operation and uninterrupted development processes.

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like

2. AN IMPORTANT REMINDER
by Patricia Diane Cota-Robles http://eraofpeace.org
You have the ability to make a positive difference in the world. This has been a roller-
coaster time of miracles and challenges. It seems as though these extreme experi-
ences are being used to wake Humanity up at warp speed. It is time for people every-
where to remember who they are and why they are on Earth during this auspicious
moment. Important changes are taking place, and in spite of outer-world appear-
ances, we are beginning to see evidence of people in every walk of life reaching out to
make a positive difference.
It seems that every day we are being flooded with fear-based information that reflects the dire possibilities
of economic collapse, terrorist attacks, war, environmental disasters, governmental and corporate corrup-
tion, crime, violence and myriad other potential dangers. It is very easy to become so overwhelmed with
concern that we just wring our hands and muddle through our days in a state of anxiety and desperation.
The majority of people feel helpless when it comes to changing their lives or making a significant differ-
ence in the world. Everyone wants things to get better, but most people don't truly believe they can effec-
tively assist in the process. Well, fortunately, nothing could be further from the Truth. We are ALL co-
creators. We are on Earth during this unprecedented time for the explicit purpose of uniting with our Fa-
ther-Mother God and the Company of Heaven to co-create the wonders of Heaven on Earth. Whether we
consciously remember it or not, each and every one of us has been preparing for a very long time to assist
in this mission. We all have unique skills and abilities that no one else on the planet possesses in exactly
the same way we do. We have volunteered to assist in helping to change the old, obsolete behavior pat-
terns that are responsible for the pain and suffering Humanity is enduring. The time for us to begin fulfill-
ing our Divine Missions is NOW!
Traumatic experiences cause us to regroup and to reevaluate how we are living our lives. We have fallen
into the pattern of using pain as our motivator. As long as we are not in pain, we will just plod along, day
after day, without much thought. When a tragedy happens, however, we are forced to put our lives into
perspective. We stop for a moment and focus on what really matters to us. If we use the tragic event to
change our mode of operation and to put more meaning in our lives, then something good will come out of
even the most horrific experience.
The tragic events of September 11, 2001, Hurricane Katrina, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the hous-
ing debacle, the economic meltdown, and several other challenging events have transformed our lives for-
ever. We have a choice as to whether we allow catastrophes to catapult us into lives of fear and dread or
whether we use those experiences to motivate us into creating lives of fulfillment and joy. We have the
ability to do both of those things; the path we choose is up to us.
The only reason we have not been co-creating lives of joy, happiness, prosperity, loving relationships, fi-
nancially and creatively rewarding jobs, vibrant health, fulfillment, enlightenment and every other positive
experience is because we have forgotten that we can.
Not only can we create the lives we dream of, this is our purpose and reason for being. Our thoughts and
feelings are creative. Whatever we focus our thoughts, words, actions, and feelings on, we bring into
physical form. It is time for us to remember this Divine Truth and for us to consciously choose to create the
lives we want instead of inadvertently manifesting, through our fears, the experiences we do not want.
Patterns of thinking and emotional responses are usually habits you have allowed yourself to develop
3. need to just muddle through the day. Instead, you can deliberately control your thoughts, words, ac-
tions, and feelings. Since it is a natural law that what you put your attention and energy into, you draw
into your life. It is only logical that you take the steps necessary to let go of destructive programming
and begin creating for yourself a fulfilling, happy, harmonious, abundant, and peaceful life.
Research is proving that what we think about at night before we go to sleep is carried into the subcon-
scious mind, so it is a good idea to put your attention on something constructive. So try THESE affir-
mations!
I AM weaving my gifts, talents, skills, knowledge, strength, courage, compassion and love into
the tapestry of the Divine Plan for the New Earth.
I AM responding to my Heart’s Call.
I AM Consecrating my thoughts, words, feelings and actions to be the greatest force of good I

I AM making a positive difference every day.

4. Welcome back to Transpersonal Psychology Association of Syracuse. We
have several exciting developments to share with you. First of all, we now have our own
website, www.tpasyracuse.yolasite.com. You may even be reading this latest newsletter
from the new website. We hope you will all try to access it and tell us what you think.
Suggestions for additions and improvements are welcomed. We hope you will find it a
handy place to access information about our members (including photos sometimes), ar-
chived articles and newsletters, Dream Team information and background about our purpose and func-
tion. It is still a work in progress. Nancy and Dale Gallagher hope to fine tune some of the historical
information soon. They have been quite busy this summer with numerous trips to visit Nancy’s ailing
mother.
….Our Facebook page still exists and will soon be more active as our season commences again. To
access it, type Transpersonal Psychology Association” in the SEARCH box after you have accessed
the website www.facebook.com. (It should come up before you have even finished typing all three
words. “Like” it and add your comments. If you would like to post something, let me (Sue Savion) or
Georgia (Cuningham) know, and we will get it onto the site.
…...We don’t usually have formal meetings about procedural matters in TPA. However, with all the
changes taking place, this seems a necessary thing to do at this point. So...before the usual potluck
at our next meeting, we will hold a brief business meeting. All will be held at my house: 107 Humbert
Ave, Syracuse, NY. The directions are on the first page, as the rest of the gathering will also be at my
home. Please, if you have ideas you would like to share or opinions and suggestions, come at 5:30 so
that you can give your input. Some of the topics we intend to discuss are: 1) a possible reduction in
dues, since we will be going almost exclusively on line after this issue. That will eliminate both the
cost of a printer (I will print out a few hard copes on my computer to mail to those without internet ac-
cess.) and a large savings in postage; 2) New Dream Team people, especially for the positions of
Program Director and Host Home Seeker. Dennis Cole has been handling BOTH of those jobs for
many years. However, his life is going in a direction in which he needs more time for his more lucra-
tive pursuits. That brings up #3) The possibility of waiving the yearly dues fee for other pursuits. 4)
Other possible rental facilities for hosting meetings. 5) Speaker fees. Please email me if there are fur-
ther items you would like to add to the agenda so that I can have them all typed up before the meeting.
……...Did you know that if you volunteer to host a meeting at your house, you do not need to also pay
the usual fee that we ask for that night? We appreciate you opening your home for us, as it is also a
big savings over having to rent a facility.
…..Many of us have done some traveling during the summer months. I had a great time in Alaska for
two weeks. There are also lots of us feeling the tensions and pressures of the times as we deal with
aging parents, illnesses and other difficult situations. Debbie Pillsbury had surgery on both her
hands. Please read inside for some thoughts and advice in dealing with all that is….
