 Veremos COMO Ele ministrou ás
pessoas e PORQUÊ que Lhes
ministrou.
 À medida que olhamos para Jesus
podemos comparar o nosso "como" e
"porquê" de ministrar ao Seu.
 Ministério É satisfazer as necessidades
dos outros seja a necessidade social,
física e, ou espiritual.
 We will see how He ministered to
people and why He ministered to
them.
 As we look to Jesus we can compare
our “how” and “why” of ministry to His.
 Ministry is meeting the needs of
others whether the need be social,
physical, and or spiritual.
◦Hoje, vamos pensar no termo
“Compaixão” .
◦Como defenirias a palavra?
◦O que é compaixão?
◦Today I would like us to think of
the term “Compassion”.
◦How would you define the word?
◦What is compassion?
 O grupo da palavra splanchnizomai
não é usado frequentemente no NT.
 A palavra originalmente indicava as
partes internas do corpo (do
interior) e sugeria ser o lugar das
emoções--particularmente
emoções de pena, compaixão, e
amor.
 The splanchnizomai word group is
not used frequently in the NT.
 The word originally indicated the
inner parts of the body (from the
guts) and came to suggest the seat
of the emotions--particularly
emotions of pity, compassion, and
love.
 Mas as suas ocorrências
parecem especialmente
importantes.
 O nome é encontrado em Luc.
1:78; Act. 1:18 (no sentido
físico); 2 Cor. 6:12; 7:15; Filip.
1:8; 2:1; Col. 3:12; Filémon 7,
12, 20; 1 João 3:17.
 O verbo é usado em Mat. 9:36;
14:14; 15:32; 18:27; 20:34;
Marc. 1:41; 6:34; 8:2; 9:22;
Luc. 7:13; 10:33; 15:20.
 But its occurrences seem
especially important.
 The noun is found in Lk 1:78;
Ac 1:18 (in a physical sense);
2 Co 6:12; 7:15; Php 1:8;
2:1; Col 3:12; Phm 7, 12, 20;
1 Jn 3:17.
 The verb is used in Mt 9:36;
14:14; 15:32; 18:27; 20:34;
Mk 1:41; 6:34; 8:2; 9:22; Lk
7:13; 10:33; 15:20.
 Quando a resposta de Jesus, é de
tal forma, que é descrita como
sendo Ele movido por compaixão, a
ocasião é, muitas vezes, o ponto de
viragem na vida de alguém…
 Compaixão moveu Jesus a tomar
medidas que afetaram as vidas
daqueles cujas necessidades O
moveram.
 When the response of Jesus is such
that He is described as being
moved by compassion, the
occasion is often the turning point
in one's life ...
 Compassion moved Jesus to take
measures that affected the lives of
those whose needs moved Him.
 Deus chama-nos a ter compaixão dos
outros e a participar no ministério.
 Essa chamada é mais do que um apelo
para que nos sintamos em relação aos
necessitados (pena).
 É uma chamada para cuidar o suficiente
de modo a nos envolvermos e ajudar
tomando alguma ação, que vai definir a
vida dos outros num novo e fresco
curso.
 God calls you and I to have compassion
on others and to participate in ministry.
 That call is more than an appeal for us
to feel with and for the needy (pity).
 It is a call to care enough to become
involved and to help by taking some
action that will set others' lives on a
fresh, new course.

◦A Lição de hoje é um olhar para
Mateus e para as vezes, nesse
evangelho, onde Jesus é mostrado
como tendo compaixão. Quero
que notemos a progressão.
◦Ele tinha compaixão:
Porque razões,
E depois, o que aconteceu?
◦Today’s Lesson is a look at
Matthew and the times in this
gospel where Jesus is shown to
have compassion. I want us to
notice a progression.
◦He had compassion:
for what reasons, and
Then, what happened?
◦ "Jesus ia passando por todas as
cidades e povoados, ensinando
nas sinagogas, pregando as
boas novas do Reino e curando
todas as doenças e
enfermidades. 36 Quando Ele
viu as multidões, teve
compaixão delas, porque
estavam aflitas e desamparadas,
como ovelhas sem pastor ".
◦ “Jesus went through all the
towns and villages, teaching in
their synagogues, preaching the
good news of the kingdom and
healing every disease and
sickness. 36 When he saw the
crowds, he had compassion on
them, because they were
harassed and helpless, like
sheep without a shepherd.”
◦"Então disse aos Seus
discípulos: “ A colheita
é grande, mas os
trabalhadores são
poucos. 38 Pedi ao
Senhor da colheita, por
isso, para que mande
trabalhadores para a
Sua seara. "
◦“ Then He said to his
disciples, "The harvest
is plentiful but the
workers are few. 38
Ask the Lord of the
harvest, therefore, to
send out workers into
His harvest field."
 Mateus 14:13-17
Jesus cura e alimenta cinco mil

 Matthew 14:13-17
 Jesus heals and feeds the five
thousand men (15,000 people?)
 “Jesus saiu dali e foi ao
longo do Mar da Galiléia.
Depois subiu ao monte e
sentou-se. 30 Grandes
multidões se aproximaram
d’Ele, trazendo os coxos,
os cegos, os aleijados, os
mudos e muitos outros , e
pondo-os a Seus pés; Ele
os curou.”
 “Jesus left there and went
along the Sea of Galilee.
Then he went up on a
mountainside and sat
down. 30 Great crowds
came to him, bringing the
lame, the blind, the
crippled, the mute and
many others, and laid them
at his feet; and he healed
them. “
 31 The people were amazed when
they saw the mute speaking, the
crippled made well, the lame
walking and the blind seeing. And
they praised the God of Israel.
 Then he feeds the 4000.
 Mat. 20:29-34

 É injusto e irrealista pensar que
podemos mudar o mundo com a
nossa compaixão.
 É mesmo muito exagero pensar
que a nossa compaixão pode
mudar toda esta comunidade.
 Mas ao agir com compaixão,
podemos fazer uma mudança num
indivíduo.
 It is unfair and unrealistic to think
that we can change the world with
our compassion.
 It is even too much of a stretch to
think that our compassion can
change this whole community.
 But by acting in compassion we
can make a change in an
individual.
 Pensa em quando, as pessoas saíram
do seu caminho para se certificarem
de que foste cuidado fisicamente,
socialmente ou espiritualmente.
 Compaixão é, quando as pessoas
tomam a ‘preocupação’ que eles têm
por ti e o seu amor por Deus e
colocam-no em prática.
 Think of when people went out of
their way to make sure that you were
taken care of, physically, socially, and

concern that they have for you and
their love for God and put them into
practice.
