I liked this technique that gave each character a sense of mystery and danger and created an enigma code that draws text’s audience into the world of the media form and allows them to become full immersed. In this trailer we see a group of girls that are held against their wills in a mental asylum and plan to escape in order to do this they need to gather some items while getting these items the text transports the girls into a fantasy world that with many different articulated tools from other genres such a dragon from fantasy, zombies from zombie flicks, robots from sci-fi and many more. While in this world they perform actions to get items that will aid them in escaping the actions they carry out are mirrored in the real world.

In this shot we see a woman in a medium close up (MCU) sleeping n a bed I liked this shot as we see that the person is sleeping with minimal effort or any and this type of shot can be recreated with relative ease without any big budget or special effects. I also like the choice of grey filter used as a narrative positioning tool as we can see that grey connotes death or impending doom.

I liked this due to the fact that is within seconds shows a change of location that allows for the narrative to progress. We can recreate this techniques use is a bridge between a dream sequences and reality, the destruction seen in the establishing shot shown to signify the change of location.

In this shot we see a moment were both diegetic and non-diegetic sound is non existent and we see a wooden door then we see a person burst through the door and as soon as he does the non-diagetic sound restarts and the narrative continues. This type of scene shows the pace of the narrative connoting that there are both slow meaning full scenes as well as action scenes, this will be able to recreate but not to the same calibre
