● Some marketing is done by affiliates on behalf of a company.

Marketing can be classified into 2 major classification namely :
● Traditional marketing
● Digital Marketing
Traditional Marketing
Traditional marketing refers to any type of marketing that isn’t online. This means print, broadcast,
direct mail, phone, and outdoor advertising like billboards
Advantages of Traditional Marketing
traditional marketing is effective in boosting your brand.
In addition, traditional marketing presents opportunities to reach a
large audience in ways that digital marketing cannot

● Promotional Materials Are Sustainable
● Hard Copy Marketing Materials Can Be

Disadvantages of Traditional marketing
Traditional marketing has been getting success in the
past, there are some disadvantages of traditional
marketing too due to the increasing use of the internet
in recent years.
These days it’s not often we get excited
about traditional marketing methods

● Expensive compared to online
marketing
● Customized Marketing not possible

Digital marketing is the component of marketing that uses the Internet and online based digital technologies
such as desktop computers, mobile phones and other digital media and platforms to promote products and
