Company History
The Firm was formed in 2006 and is involved in Consultancy as well as other services
in the financial sector. It employs its own staff of various disciplines and uses
associates, experts in their field of activities.
In 2008 the Company, via Kostas Polydorides, became the Tied Agent of Global
Capital Securities and Financial Services Ltd (Global Capital).
Global Capital is a Cyprus registered Investment Firm licensed and regulated by the
Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission to provide a wide range of investment
services addressing comprehensively the investment needs of the Cyprus business
community (both residents and non-residents) with particular emphasis put on serving
the needs of the corporate/ institutional/ high net worth market segments. Global
Capital primarily focuses on three core activities - Fund Management, Brokerage and
Corporate Finance.

Management Team
The founder of the firm and the present Managing Director is Kostas Polydorides
He is a holder of BSc (Honours) Degree, Oxford Brookes University, in Hotel and
Restaurant Management. In 2001 he continued his studies at the Cyprus International
Institute of Management (CIIM), where in 2002 he completed successfully his Master
in Business Administration (MBA).
The same year he became general manager of Emerald Group of companies, which is
involved with services and trading operations. After a short period of time he was
appointed as one of the group’s directors. He served the Emerald Group until
December 2003 and his responsibilities included the management of the operations and
the performance of the three offices of the group (Lemesos, Moscow, Toronto).
In 2004 he cooperates with the firm of Polydorides & Associates Consultants Ltd,
where his cooperation continues until the present day.
Since December 2008 he is a holder of the Ministry of Finance certificates:
a) Executions of Orders on behalf of clients and
b) Portfolio Management.
He can also be employed by Investment Firm and Credit Institutions licensed to
operate in the Republic of Cyprus.
In July 2009 he has been licensed by Athens Stock Exchange to provide the services of
Execution of Orders on behalf of clients and Portfolio Management.
He participated and was involved in fairs, exhibitions and promotional events in
Cyprus, Canada and Russia.

Brief Description and Services of Global Capital Financial Securities
and Financial Services
A subsidiary of the Cyprus Development Bank Group, Global Capital Securities
and Financial Services Ltd (Global Capital) is a Cyprus registered Investment Firm
licensed and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission to provide
a wide range of investment services addressing comprehensively the investment needs
of the Cyprus business community (both residents and non-residents) with particular
emphasis put on serving the needs of the corporate/ institutional/ high net worth
market segments. Global Capital primarily focuses on three core activities - Fund
Management, Brokerage and Corporate Finance.
Fund Management
Global Capital’s most vital operating activity is that of fund management with
particular emphasis placed on the management of equity portfolios invested in Cyprus
and Greece. Equity portfolios are being managed on a discretionary or non-
discretionary management basis with emphasis being laid on taking advantage of the
market cycles while attempting to reduce the impact of equity market downturns. At
present Global Capital is in the processing of launching specialized funds addressing
the needs of particular segments of the investment community.
Brokerage
As Member of the Cyprus Stock Exchange and Athens Exchange Global Capital is
in position to provide reception/ transmission and execution of client orders on the
said exchanges while with the introduction of the global equities trading platform of
BNP Paribas this year, Global Capital is also in a position to offer brokerage services
for global equity and, at a later stage, bond markets. As a result, each client of Global
Capital can with a single account have real time access to the local, Greek and all
major equity markets worldwide.
Corporate Finance
Global Capital is one of a handful of local investment firms licensed by CySEC to
offer the full range of corporate finance services such as:
1. Flotation Services: Advice on organisational & capital structure, financial
valuations for structuring & pricing the issue, preparation of prospectus and other
relevant documents, underwriting & selling of the issue, management of the
floatation.
2. Structuring of financial instruments such as bonds, subordinated loans and
structured products.
3. Capital raising for private and publicly-listed companies
4. Specialised financing services such as project financing, loan syndication,
mezzanine financing and private equity
5. Mergers & Acquisitions
6. Financial advisory, including project appraisal, company valuation and capital
structuring.
Mutual Funds (UCITS)
At present Global Capital is working closely with Alpha Trust of Greece with a view
to exploring various avenues of cooperation including the representation and
distribution of Alpha Trust Mutual Funds in Cyprus. Alpha Trust is probably one of
the systematically best performing mutual fund managers in Greece with an
impressive track record.
