Sankhuwasabha Education Scholarship Foundation (SESF) is a non-profit organization established in 1997 in Khandbari, Nepal that offers socially constructive trekking programs in the Makalu and Arun Valley regions. The treks are organized by Makalu Arun Social Trek (MAST), which was established in 2010, to facilitate sustainable tourism with the local communities. A portion of the funds generated from the treks support SESF's child education and Khandbari orphanage programs. Sankhuwasabha Education Scholarship Foundation (SESF) a non-profit social
organization established in Khandbari on June 4, 1997 by the residents of
Khandbari Bazaar is pleased to offer you socially constructive community friendly
trekking program around Makalu and Arun Valley Region through Makalu Arun
Social Trek (MAST) a registered non profit distributing trekking company
established in Khandbari in 2010.
MAST would like to organize, coordinate and facilitate treks around
the region in collaboration with the local communities, ensuring a win-win situation
between hosts and visitors. A big part of the generated resources will be used to
support the Sankhuwasabha Education Scholarship Foundation (SESF)'s child
education support program and Khandbari orphanage program.
