Tanya Naylor worked as the Foundation Director for Newport Hospital & Health Services for two years. During her time there, she was instrumental in establishing the hospital's foundation and developing its fundraising programs. She recruited board members, created strategic initiatives, and implemented community events that helped raise funds. Her former supervisor, Tom Wilbur, provides this recommendation letter praising Tanya's strong work ethic, leadership, organizational skills, and commitment to helping the foundation succeed despite limited resources. He believes Tanya would be an asset to any organization.
At the 2016 CCIH Annual Conference, Andrea Kaufmann of World Vision International discussed the role of faith leaders in communities and how faith leaders can be very influential in increasing the use of family planning.

To Whom ltMay Concem:
During ourmutual employment with Newport Hospital & Health Services, I had the opportunity
to work with Tanya Naylor, our Foundation Director for the better part of two years. Her
position involved working directly with me, our adrninistrative team, and our cornmunity board
members in the daily operation of our Foundation's fund raising programs and event
coordination. Based on my working relationship with Tanya, I believe I have a strong basis
from which to comrnent on her character, service, and commitment to the organization.
My overall impression of Tanya is that she is highly motivated and has a committed work ethic.
Tanya was hired during the infancy of our Hospital establishing its Fourdation and she was
instrumental in getting our Forurdation up and running. We certainly would not be where we are
today without her efforts, organization, and leadership. She laid much of the groundwork for us
to develop our Foundation programs and communityrecruitmenl
I found Tanya to be an honest and forthright individual who was not afraid to offer constructive
opinion, work in a team setting and/or work independently. While I have no formal training or
experience in the fund raising field, I do know that Tanya was integral in recruiting our
Foundation Board members, developing our strategic initiatives, ffid implementing our
community events, including a Spring Fun Run, Surnmer Golf Tournament, and Holiday
Festival of Trees. She had many ideas and could utilize desk top publishing tools to assist with
developing our functional materials.
As a start-up organization, in a community with limited resources, we were also pleased with
our overall fundraising efforts. In a small rurat hospital we continually strive to develop ways to
cultivate and expand our talent pool. We were very fortunate to have Tanya Naylor as a rnember
of our organization. She would be a welcome contributor to any organization looking for
someone who is professional, self-motivated, and willing to work toward conrmon goals. Please
do not hesitate to contact me directly at (509) 447-9309 if I can answer any questions.
