Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk was born in 1850 in Hodonin and died in 1937 in Lány. He was the son of a farmer named Josef Masaryk and Terezie Masaryková. Masaryk became the first President of Czechoslovakia in 1918, holding the position until 1935.

7th, 1850 in Hodonin and died in September
14th, 1937 in Lány.

3.  His parents worked on a farm.
 His mother was Terezie Masaryková.
 His father was Josef Masaryk and worked as a
coach.

4.  He was elected for the first President od
Czechoslovakia in November 14th, 1918, and
ended in December 14th, 1935.

5.  He was famous because he became the first
Czechoslovak president.
