Ivan Krchnavý was the plant manager of Sauer-Danfoss/Turolla's factory in Považská Bystrica, Slovakia from 2005-2011. As plant manager, he had full responsibility for the total operations, including engineering and development. Under his leadership, the Slovakian plant achieved leading positions in quality and delivery performance within the Danfoss Group and compared to competitors. Gunnar Dæhlin, the former General Manager, found Ivan to be a trustworthy, loyal, and easy to work with employee who was passionate about operational excellence.

The undersigned was General Manager/Vice President for Business Unit Open Circuit in Sauer-Danfoss/Turolla in the period 2005 – 2011.
The Business Unit had manufacturing plants in UK, Slovakia, Italy and USA.
During my time, Ivan Krchnavý was plant manager at our factory in Považská Bystrica Slovakia. He had the full responsibility for the total operation, including engineering and development.
Ivan was a member of my extended leadership team, and I had the pleasure to work with him regularly in leadership meetings, as well as in relation to different projects.
I learned to know Ivan as a trustful and loyal employee, with strong skills within his area. His leadership brought our Slovakian operation to a leading position on quality and delivery performance, both within the Danfoss Group as well as in comparison to competition.
During the years I also got to know Ivan as a personality easy to cooperate with, and with passion for excellence in operations.
