Training needs analysis as “a process that determines the skills and knowledge
requirements for a project or an organization, and the training that needs to be done to
ensure those requirements are met.”
Wikipedia :“Training Analysis is the process of identifying the gap in employee training
and related training needs.”
The training needs analysis definition from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management
describes training needs assessments as a process “to identify performance
requirements and the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed by an agency’s workforce to
achieve the requirements.”

 Identify gaps:
A training needs analysis can help you determine if your company has any
organizational issues that are caused by a lack of skills, knowledge and abilities.
Focusing on both training and analysis can help you identify these issues before
they become a problem and have a negative impact on your business

Training Need Analysis (TNA )
TNA merupakan langkah asas yang perlu dilaksanakan terlebh dahulu sebelum sesuatu perancangan mengenai sesuatu
latihan dibuat .
Objektif utama TNA dilaksanakan adalah untuk mengunmpul dan menganalisa keperluan sebenar latihanbagipegawai
didalam sesuatu organisasi sesuai dengan tugas dan tanggungjawab jawatan yang disandang .
Aspek ini penting kerana perlaksanaan latihan merupakan suatu keperluan jangka panjang dan untuk memastikan
kompetensi anggota ditahap yang diperlukan bagi memastikan penyampaian perkhidmatan diberikan pada tahap yang
optima .
OBJEKTIF
1.Untuk mengetahui tahap kemahiran setiap anggota berdasarkan pengalaman dan tempoh bekerja .
2.Untuk memberikan latihan kepada anggota yang kurang berkemahiran .
3.Bagi menyelaraskan pengetahuan dan kemahiran kepada semua pekerja .
ANALISA KAJIAN
1.Memberi ruang kepada pekerja sendiri untuk memilih kursus yang ingin diikuti .
2.Menilai tahap kemahiran yang dimiliki oleh setiap individu mengikut pengalaman .
3.Menawarkan kursus-kursus mengikut keperluan pekerja
4.Dapatkan markah setiap penilaian di akhir kursus yang terlibat
