The Title I Parent Meeting covered several topics: Title I funds are used to bridge achievement gaps between low-income students and others; the school made adequate yearly progress; parent involvement is key to school success; and the school-parent compact outlines responsibilities of the school, parents, and students to promote student success. Parents were also informed about leadership roles, communication avenues, and how to complete an important parent survey.
